Biography
I only represent defense work.
I am a shareholder of Cuneo, Black, Ward and Missler. I have defended employers and carriers in Workers’ Compensation related matters since 1987. I specialize in Workers’ Compensation Defense and Subrogation. I have over 26 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation in public entity cases, appellate work, complex cases, and subrogation. I have lectured extensively and has served as an instructor for the State Bar of California, Continuing Education of the Bar, University of California Davis Occupational Medicine Symposium, Peace Officers’ Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.), PARMA, CSAC, PIWC, ACWA, VICA, and other organizations. I have also taught labor relations law at Sierra College and have experience in public sector labor relations and in general civil legal practice.
