Wazhma Mojaddidi

I decided to retain Wazhma after four previous attorneys. This was my 3rd year of litigating a dissolution. I was fighting allegations of DV, child neglect and child abuse. Also, the Respondent was refusing to work, which led to me having a higher support obligation for both child and spousal support.... Lastly, the Respondent had just received a favorable CCRC recommending that she relocate with our children 3,000 miles away. The Respondent was also requesting permanent spousal support and for me to be imputed at a higher income because I left a higher paying job in the bay. These issues required going to multiple hearings, in which we made progress little by little. The Respondent had access to lots of cash so we went through 9 days of trial to dispute these issues. The Results: The Respondent dropped her move-away because the CCRC Child Custody evaluator indicated he may change his mind and give custody to father. The Court denied her request to prolong spousal support and impute my income at a high salary. In fact, the Court terminated spousal support and ordered her a full income imputation, retroactively. Lastly, the Court sanctioned Respondent for her bad faith conduct, which drastically increase the cost of litigation. After this trial, the Respondent herself, told me she was impressed by Wazhma’s performance and referred to her as a lion in the Court room. Overall, I would say I am extremely satisfied with her performance. My case was strong, I just needed an attorney to be as passionate about my case as I was. And that attorney was Wazhma. Just be honest and upfront about everything and she will get a fair a result!

.After my divorce, court didn't mentioned any spousal support for me. So I was very worried about all this. At that critical time I contacted Wazhma. Before I hire Mrs , Mogaddadis, I had two previous lawyers, my experience with them was horrible. I thought that there is no way to find honest lawyer. When I hired Mojaddaid, I was so supspisious, then I realized that not all the laywers are the same. 1. Ms. Mojaddadi, offer the email communicatio...n , which I like it, instead of watting days to know what happened in my cae I could find it right away. She still send for me any documents are ask for. 2. She communicate directley with me, no paralegal or secrtarey games which I had with my previous two lawyers. 3.She is very patient with her clients;regarding her fees, she treat me as human , understane my financial situations. She wants to help me regardless the money. 4. I won my case with her which was child support , spousal support ,and child custody after I went trough a big trial, she was able to discuess the opposont wittnesses in my case in very smart way, she was able to catch up their lies in front of the judje. I was lucky to hire her, she is young ,energitic, and honest lawyer.

From my first consultation with Wazhma, the kind of questions she asked me, I was sure to hire her for my divorce proceedings. Her team of Paralegals is excellent with keeping a track of time/date of hearings and research. They were good with communication even when I was not in US. Even though she... is expensive lawyer, but she tries to save your bucks by contacting you only when necessary. In court, her lawyering skills are incomparable. She knows when to speak and let the opposing counsel talk. I came out of a relationship with a narcissist, and I knew it would be a difficult case for me. But she took care of the maintenance issues brilliantly. Every step i was sure to have faced by a lie from my ex, though I am currently stuck with him at the last leg (that i kind of expected). But the overall come out from the negotiations was great and I came out with decent outcome. I would definitely recommend her!!

I went off of these good reviews to hire her. I was referred to her by another lawyer who said she was good. What she did (if i ever even got a minute to speak to her) was have her assistants do all the work and then cc 6 of them on every email. They explained nothing to me no matter how many times I... asked and I was this close to signing away most of what i was owed for spousal and child support because they just weren't paying attention. They filed a form wrong which delayed things as well. I confronted them about it and they didn't even bother to respond. I spent over 6k there and got very little progress. I went to a new attorney who informed me that i had the right to a marital standard of living assessment and that the calculations done for me weren't even accurate. They even missed a crucial detail about my ex's income that effectively more than doubled the actual amount he reported he was making. Sloppy, insensitive, non-caring and couldn't be bothered with my case. I never felt so marginalized in my life. I'm saddened that i had to spend what little money I did have for no progress and potentially screwing myself over. I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy.
