I'm giving attorney Goss a one star due to the fact that I feel he was unconcerned with my son's case. He told me my son's charges were not that severe, but my son ended up with a felony and a strike. My son's discovery was never given to him, in spite repeatedly asking for it. I feel like attorney Goss conspired with the DA and advised my son to take a deal that will follow and haunt him for the rest of his life. Also, attorney Goss gave excuses on more than one occasion as to why he hadn't read all of the dicovery - and I don't believe he ever did. My son and I have yet to see, in writing, what his charges are. I would not recommend using this attorney.

Mr. Douglas Goss has helped my husband twice. The first time was minor, but the second time I thought I was going to lose my husband. I cannot thank him enough for saving my family. He and his staff were wonderful about answering my questions and keeping us all updated. God bless you, Mr. Goss.

I emailed Douglas about my speeding ticket and within a few hours he called me back to explain to me the for my case it is cheapest to pay the ticket and take driving school to avoid the addition of points to the driving record, but he also offered me the option to fight the ticket on my behalf if I desire that option. He was very quick and helpful and I am glad I reached out to him.

Sooooooooo happy! I was in a car accident earlier this year and was hurting. A girlfriend of mine told me to call Doug. I met with him and filled out some forms. He told me to worry about getting better, and he'd handle the rest. A few months later, I got a check waaaaay bigger than I expected. I'm seriously so happy!!!

Long story short: I had a couple drinks, but I wasn't drunk, drove home, and got hit by another driver who ran a red light. The cops showed up and arrested BOTH OF US for DUIs. I don't know what happened to the other guy, but I got charged with a felony. It was ridiculous. I talked to a friend who told me to hire Doug, and I am glad I did. I'm not sure how, but he got the whole thing thrown out of court. His staff (Blair and the girl, I forget her name) were really good about keeping me updated. Blair (his son) sent me an email after every hearing and returned my calls fast. I haven't used a lawyer before, but this one is very good.

Doug goss was hired as my lawyer after the police raided my house and found stolen property amongst my boyfriends things. My ex boyfriend was/is a habitual felon. Long story short the DA was taking me along for the ride till the boyfriend pleaded out.
I had never been in trouble with the law. When i was charged with receiving stolen property I was mortified to say the least. After spending 3 days in jail and feeling pretty crucified by our local paper, Mr Goss looked me right in my eyes and told me i wont let you spend a day in jail. Right then i knew that Da would be up for one hell of a fight if he took this to trial. MR Goss gave him a little taste of that during my pre hearing. Thank goodness it never went to trial but if it had i would definitely want Doug Goss by my side. With his prior law enforcement career his range of knowledge and procedure are extremely helpful and i ALWAYS felt a step ahead of the game which put my mind at ease. All of my charges we dismissed.
I will say this....Its known in my town to call Doug Goss if you find yourself in trouble with the law..he is a pitbull!

Office of Douglas Alan Goss and in particular Blair were very helpful in resolution of my traffic citation. As a CDL driver having clean driving record is very important , as important as having professional attorney that can keep it that way. Communicating with the office of Alan Goss was easy and responses were prompt. I had no worries or concerns. Once again thank you for your help.

Information was almost non existent. I had to make many phone calls to find out the status of my case. I never received any information unless I initiated the contact. Phone messages were almost never returned.

I got a speeding ticket, yes 10 miles and hour over the speed limit on the freeway. Unfortunately, this was my 2nd 10 mile and hour over the speed limit on the freeway ticket in 9 months. I don't mind taking responsibility for my actions, but it seemed unfair that I would have to pay higher-than-I-already pay insurance premiums for 3 years as a result. I got an idea to see if there were any attorneys that could help. There are quite a few, but none that guaranteed the cost of their services (and the cost seemed more than reasonable) so if I lost, they would refund my payment. I was scared, nervous, unsure, but they kept assuring me, talking me through the process. Today they said my ticket was dismissed. I am so happy, and I have also learned my lesson about speeding, and am driving slower, so I hope to not have to use their services any time soon, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to call them up.

I own a trucking company and was driving through Stockton with 2 of my employees following me. One of them told me my blinker was out, so we pulled over at the 8-mile off-ramp and parked in the big emergency section. We went to go grab a part to fix my turn signal, and when we got back, a CHP officer was writing us all tickets for illegally stopping on the freeway. I tried to tell him what happened, but he wasn't having any of it.
I contacted Doug's office after seeing him here. I told him what happened. He asked me if I wanted the citations dismissed, or if I'd be OK if there was a small fine and no DMV points. I said I wanted to fight mine, but just wanted no points for my employees. He had me email him the citations, and sent me contracts back. we signed them, and paid a small fee. They kept me updated 100% the whole way, and last week all three cases were dismissed. No fine, and most importantly no points on any of our records. I'm going to avoid stopping in Stockton in the future, but I'd happily hire Doug again.
