I have been practicing family law for 20 years; first in Missouri and now here. I offer a free consultation and I usually can determine what needs to be done from that consultation. While I have had clients who managed to file actions on their own, I strongly recommend that you find an attorney to go to court with you.

Replied last September 30, 2014Sadly, this is posted by someone who has had multiple attorneys, and files many Requests for Orders without legal foundation. I tried to explain to her that her actions were not helpful to her or to the children. She refused to take my advice. The case was set for trial and she chose to represent herself instead of retaining me to try the case. I wish her well but until she starts taking the advice of the many attorneys who have spoken to her, I expect she will be back in court again and again.
