We came to Jay's office last fall for a consultation about my J-1 waiver. Actually before we went, I did not have much confidence since I was thinking this was such a weak case. Anyone seeking immigration legal counsel should consider themselves lucky to find such a capable, knowledgable and caring attorney. I met Jay at the most desperate time of my life. I had less than 72 hours to provide proof that I had adjusted my status from my expired F1 visa. I was in a state of pa...nic at the time and I thank God that he directed me to my attorney Jay. He was able to see me that same day. I told him my story and my desparate situation of possible deportation if I could not show proof of change of status.
