I was charged for hitting a car and leaving the scene. I was very scared and worried of the repercussions. The DA wanted to throw the book at me, but I hired Nick and he was able to take care of it for me. I trusted him with the case and he got the job done. My case was no sh*t. I was looking at prison. Not jail, prison. First offense, veteran of the armed forces, blah blah blah. None of this exonerated me from anything. I took it too far on a guy's face and there were hospital bills. This is felony sh*t, with eyewitness video, and I hd no money. My girlfriend paid for everything, and what we paid for has kept me free to this day. I am writing this from home. And that is what matters. I will not discuss the cost of his services, but my girl was given two payments to make it happen. 15 months passed between the incident and my sentencing. In those 15 months the attorney responded to 90% all communication personally and within the same day. I began to freak out and told me to keep calm and stay lawyered up. I got mixed messages from the courts, and asked Nick "what the heck is going on?!?!?!?" He told me to take his advice and stay out of jail. I did and I did. Due to the attorney's familiarity with the county, the court, and the law, I was able to serve time on electronic monitoring. I have read most of the reviews here. Nick does not offer bro-hugs and bedside manner. If you are in his office, you are kinda f^cked. Like I was! Even if his manner feels gruff, I urge you to ask yourself this: Do I want someone to make me feel better through all this or do I want a lawyer who is savvy? This defense attorney will not grease your emotional wheels to make you feel better. He may keep you the heck out of prison. Or jail. Again, there is video of my incident, and attorneys and judges speak a language that we, the common folks, do not. I was kept out of prison and there is a possibility of expungement. I even spoke with two other SJ lawyers about my attorney, and they both mentioned that he was a courteous colleague and effective lawyer. He even communicated with me at airports between flights to relay that he was traveling and the office would be in touch. In closing, there may have been 1 or 2 clerical errors that the court staff created/missed that my attorney Nick did not miss. He rectified some sh*t. Take it from me, as I was distracted by Nick's manner at times, he knows the courts and system and the legal language you don't. Excellent work, I believe.

I was pulled over by the police in San Jose about 4 months ago with a .09 blood alcohol level. I knew I had to get some help. This was my first time ever needing legal help. When I spoke with Nick he sounded like a nice guy. He was knowledgeable and offered a very reasonable price. So I went with him and hoped for the best. Little did I know I had just hired an excellent lawyer. He went to work right away. He made me feel comfortable and was always quick to get back to my questions and concerns and always kept me informed with the case. Four months later his strategy worked great. I had prepared myself for a DUI sentence but was hoping to get at least a wet reckless. I ended up walking away with a dry reckless and a small fine. My license was not affected either. My cousin referred me to Nick when I was arrested for hit & run. I was told this could get me deported. Nick help me a lot to get better deal. Potential Clients, Beware! I hired on Nick in November 2021. Upon first meeting he seemed like a nice person, attentive and receptive. However, as time dragged on he changed. He went from we'll take care of you to "You're in deep trouble, we need to talk about the money you need to pay me so we can continue this case" he was always all about the money and not about the client. He never listened to my side of the story and just kept dragging my case on and saying I needed to take charges I didn't even do. In the end I couldn't handle it anymore as I was innocent and needed someone to listen to my side of the story and switched to a different law firm and they were the polar opposite of Nick. They got my case dismissed in a few months compared to Nick having mine for a year. I highly recommend their law firm(VIB Law) for major incidents. The one good thing about Nick is he has a PI who was the only helpful one during the entire time I had hired on Nick. He was the only one who would answer my calls and reassure me that everything would be alright. Nick would always answer in a rude and condescending tone and say I'm in trouble or that I needed to get money ready to pay him.
