I had a work comp case that involved a fall so bad at work it required 4 surgeries to put me back together again. I started with another attorney who shall remain nameless and would NEVER recommend my original attorney. I finally had enough of his crap when MY attorney had me crying on the phone ta...lking down to me like I was an idiot and finally hung up on him. I’m sitting there thinking there’s something seriously messed up that MY attorney was treating me like crap and gave me no info whatsoever so I decided minimally for my sanity I needed to find someone else (he was actually referred to me). Trying to find another attorney to take over my case took a lot of work. Most of them were raving how great he was and I was lucky to have him (I’m thinking “are we talking about the same guy”), they were hesitant to “take his client from him” - don’t know why since he really hadn’t don’t crap, but it mostly boiled down to that the new attorney would have to give the original attorney a portion of the 20% which I can’t imagine being much because he didn’t do much. Then I found Jason Marks and I would yell from the rooftops to go to him. He was the first and only guy to agree in saying 1st attorney useless, but the biggest thing he did for me that I knew nothing about was exactly how they figure out settlement amounts. You really need to be more accountant than attorney. No one ever explained it to me which I was so grateful for because I would ask original atty and he pretty much ignored my question. Jason is a no nonsense hard ass worker and will fight for what he believes is a fair and reasonable amount. I told my friend who gave me name of crappy 1st atty because she was using him too for a work comp claim and I kept nagging her to at least talk to Jason and then decide. Needless to say, she spoke to Jason, hired him to take over and fired her original attorney. She said it was best decision and was happy she switched. I can’t express enough how awesome Jason is - do not hesitate to hire him to represent you!

Mr. Jason Marks is best Attorney in my opinion, I worked for Cook County Hospital, and I was Union Secretory, I represented hundreds of Employees and deals with so many attorneys.
