Client was found asleep in a vehicle in his apartment complex. A passerby reported him as "appearing drunk." The responding officers parked behind my client's vehicle thus blocking in his vehicle. F ... iled a suppression motion arguing that my client's 4th Amendment right against unlawful seizure was violated because of cops blocking him in without reasonable suspicion that a crime had been committed. Case went up on appeal and 3 out of 3 judges agreed that my client was illegally detained. Case dismissed!
