Biography
Attorney Thomas (Nick) Cvietkovich has handled thousands of criminal cases. He started his career handling Juvenile Delinquency cases for the Placer County Public Defender's Office and later moved to handling DUI cases. Since that time he has handled hundreds of felony cases all over Northern California. Mr. Cvietkovich is very familiar with all the Bay Area courts. He is committed to giving his clients the best representation and making sure that a just result is reached for each client. Mr. Cvietkovich has personally tried over 20 cases to trial and has never lost a felony trial in his career.

Beware!! Money Hungry with no results

Replied last November 30, 2023Toby's case was dismissed after my investigator worked on this case for over a year. And I am very happy the case was dismissed. However, I am not money hungry. This case required going to trial and I told Toby clearly that trial fees would have to be paid in order to retain my services past the preliminary hearing stage. Every criminal defense firm structures its fees in this manner. Toby's assessment is correct in so far as I would have to be paid to spend the weeks it would take conducting a jury trial. I did not drag the case on. The court was backlogged due to the court closures from Covid. In the end, I did my job and it helped get Toby's case dismissed.
