Jacob is a very smart, compassionate and effective employment lawyer. He explained the relevant laws and my legal options so clearly I understood exactly what was happening every step of the way. I was truly amazed at my experience working with him. I've never had a great experience with a lawyer unt...il working with Jacob. There was no question he had my best interest in mind at all times. He was also empathetic and honest, two very important qualities I needed during my stressful experience. His response time to my seemingly endless number of questions was super impressive. This man called me back at like 9PM to give me a full blown consultation and get a timeline. I was driving my SUV around town with my screaming kids and he was so , so very patient. Mr. Sider took my case on a contingency fee because the case has merit, and he seems to be working at a lightning fast... pace. I do believe we are set to drop the bomb on my employer by the end of the week, give or take. That's a three-day turnaround time. I consulted with several employment lawyers prior to hiring Jacob. Everyone offers a free consultation but Jacob spent at least an hour plus some reviewing my case without asking for any commitment on my part. He was upfront with what he thought my chances were if I chose to go ahead with a hearing v...ersus seeking a settlement. He gave me a reality check with both scenarios. He did not sugar coat anything. He took my case on short notice considering I had a hearing scheduled within a month. He was always available to discuss my case and any developments at anytime of day or night 7 days a week.

Seemed to have a lot on his plate. Forgot things we discussed frequently and didn't follow-up in writing. Difficult to have a phone conversation; you get talked over a lot. Working with basic technology was difficult. The day before my hearing, I received less than 24 hours notice that he wasn't goin...g to represent me. A few days later I got a letter of disengagement.
