Some months ago I went through the unfortunately situation of getting arrested under the suspicious of DUI while I was visiting San Francisco, since I live in Los Angeles things looked very difficult, on top of that I'm a foreigner with a working visa... I called all the lawyers with 5 star reviews in Yelp and Avvo and was scared to hear the "standard" fee to represent me in a case like this, thanks god I came across Kristina's profile and gave her a call. We set everything through the phone and email in a super easy way, her rate was more than reasonable and the communication went perfectly fine, she answered every question I had and explained me every step, we met on the first court date even though it wasn't necessary for me to be there, but after our brief meeting I was feeling even more confident to work with her.
Final result: Case dismissed at the Oakland Courthouse and she also won the DMV hearing!!!
I didn't had to do anything but trust her!
I highly suggest her legal services!
Let a true professional who cares about her customers represent you!
Thank you so much for your help Krissy!

When I first interviewed Kristina, I found her to be an excellent listener and a compassionate person. She was very patient as I told my story and she comprehended the facts of the case instantly. She also took the time to ask about any personal background information that could be helpful in making her defense. She was very quick to layout several alternative strategies for the defense from the most beneficial to the worst and offered to start with the most beneficial to me even though that could be the most time consuming strategy on her part for the fee structure established.
The result of my case concluded with a dismissal due to Kristina's time spent on the best possible strategy she had first mentioned in our initial meeting. It was a huge relief to me to put this matter behind me with no criminal record to have to deal with in the future. Kristina showed me that she has a great knowledge of the local courts and knows her way around them. I would highly recommend her as your advocate in any dealings with the justice system.

I was referred to Kristina by another attorney. She has successfully assisted me and another family member on two separate DUI cases. Events happen in life to all of us when we least expect it. Sometimes these events, if not handled correctly, can have a very strong negative impact on your life and career. it's always a relief to know that there is someone who is very knowledgeable and is there to effectively and efficiently help should such a situation arise. Both cases were dismissed as Kristina researched the case, found, and pointed out requirements that were not met by law enforcement. Kristina, from my family and myself, THANK YOU!

I couldn't have asked for more from Kristina Lynn Kliszewski. When I contacted her she gave me a thorough and pragmatic overview of my case's given the information I was able to provide. The case's could have had many different results, but my 5 star rating would not have changed, she handled everything with the most care, listening to my concerns. She knows her job wll. I am so impressed with her ability and knowledge of the law. Kristina ended up winning my case's mainly due to her efforts. I recommend Kristina to all my family & friends. I know, she will take care of the situation. Thank you Kristina Lynn Kliszewski.

I recently had a first-time DUI arrest in Oakland. I was measured at a 0.12 blood alcohol level and it looked like I was in some serious trouble. I had no idea what to do or what I was facing. After searching the web and going to several appointments with different attorneys I found Kristina by chance and she turned out to be the best attorney I could have ever asked for.
Unlike the other attorneys I met, who seemed only interested in letting the process (both the DMV hearing and court case) take its course, Kristina listened to what had happened and all the circumstances of my arrest. She immediately made me feel better about the whole incident and what we were likely to be facing. She explained the entire process, what penalties were likely, what we might hope for given the facts of my case.
Over the next few months, Kristina conscientiously worked through our entire case taking care of all the hearings and appointments. She arranged and represented me at the DMV hearing and she spotted a number of problems and inconsistencies in the DMV reports. This resulted in the DMV license suspension being set aside, which is a rare and amazingly good outcome. She also attended to all the court proceedings including negotiating a settlement with the District Attorney. Her arguments were obviously understood and received well. The DUI was reduced to an offer of a wet reckless with significantly lesser penalties. I received a fine and two years probation, and no school time.
So, in total, this was about the best possible outcome I could have hoped for. This was all thanks to Kristina. If left to any of the other attorneys I met, we would never have reached this outcome and would have faced far stiffer fines, a long license suspension, and other severe consequences.
Kristina is a great attorney, very professional, very conscientious. She is also an extremely kind and caring person. Sometimes bad things can happen to good people and I was very glad to have Kristina in my corner when trouble came to me.

Twice in a year & a half Khristina has got felonies reduced to misdemeanors for me. One of carried 9 years 4 months. That one I did a 95 Day MISDEMEANOR probation violation. The other which was my eighth 10851 case she somehow negotiated to 60 days and just 2 years misdemeanor court probation. I owe my seeing the last two summers as s free man to her. She is very understanding, easy to talk to, and exudes confidence in the court room.

Kristina was extremely helpful. Not only was she extremely easy to talk to, she wanted to hear all of my story. She was extremely responsive, and available for me even if my schedule was tight. Kristina was able to get my case dropped, she understood how important it was for me to have a clean record. If you want an easy going, responsible attorney, go to Kristina!

I have worked with Kristina twice for traffic infractions. She is amazingly responsive. She really works to find an outcome that works well for her clients. She handled everything. After speaking to her on the phone I didn't have to do anything until our court date, at which point I simply had to show up. Kristina took care of everything else. I would highly recommend her. She is top notch and I give her an A+++.

Kristina handled my DUI case with total know how and professionalism. She was able to put my mind at ease as she guided me through an embarrassing and stressful situation. Her incredible organization allowed me to limit our interaction to a few short meetings and therefore was an incredibly good value for the work she accomplished. There was absolutely no doubt that she was extremely capable and confident in handling my case from day one. I was aware of the status of my case throughout the entire process, because she did such a good job of keeping me up-to-date. I could not have been in better hands, as Kristina made me feel secure that she could achieve the best possible result for me. And that she did! She turned my worries into confidence and there were no surprises, as she charted a road map and clearly set my expectations. Kristina established a high level of trust between us that was maintained throughout the process. She appeared on my behalf in court and negotiated a very favorable result. Kristina was easy to deal with, very straight forward and in my opinion (having dealt with a number of other Attorneys) represents the best of her industry. If you need representation in the Bay Area, I couldn't recommend anyone more highly. Thanks so much Kristina!

I had been out drinking with my girlfriend after I picked her up from work, when I was pulled over by a police officer. I was shocked when he accused my of speeding when I knew I wasn't (some parts of town I stay under the speed limit). He asked me If had been drinking and I told him yes, I explained to him that I had 2 drinks and was on my way home. He then asked me to step out the my car and follow him to his patrol car...... the rest was all down hill. I stumbled when he had me put my heel to toe and walk in a stright line, performed well, at least I thought I did on the rest of the test and finally he had me write my ABC's on a card. Then I blew a .16, which is 4x the legal limit if you have a commercial license, he left my car with my girlfriend and gave me an unwanted free ride to jail.
Well I followed the instructions on the pink paper, informing me I had 10 days to respond to the DMV, blah, blah, blah licese will be temporary for 30 days pending the outcome of my case. I had to inform my job, and crossed my fingers. The search was on, I now make enough money and wouldn't be appointed a public defender by the court. I wasn't about to take anything less than a win and was even prepared to go to trial if necessary, because this would be my 2nd DUI within 10 years which meant that I would be disqualified from ever being able to get a commercial license again. My job did offer a legal benefit service that I used and Kristina was one of the lawyers that was in the group, I had free consultation to talk about my case with a number of lawyers. I spoke with 2 and I chose her after my meeting with her.
She told me that she did have experience in commercial DUI cases and after listening to my side of the story thought that the way I was handled (not taken in by the arresting officer to jail and given what I think is call the "Drager" test... the big machine down town). I guess that raised a red flag and was cause for her to look at why and who accually gave me that test. A little time went by and she found that the officer that gave me the test was fairly new her qualification to accually perform the test and could have messed up. I gave her a detailed account of how I was transfered, what happened from start to finish, and she found that I was handled legally, according to me.
She had found that the arresting officer signed a document that stated he "signed under penalty of perjury", was the sole person that performed my preliminary field sobriety test (PFST) and the final test at the police station. With that we were off to the DMV hearing. With a commercial license I have to go to a hearing with the DMV, they review the facts of the case and determine if I can keep my license, yes on top of going to court, it's like court twice.... the hearing went so fast and over my head when it was all said and done, inside this small room with Kristina, myself and a no nonsense looking asian guy that worked for the DMV, he said that if I remembered correctly that it was a "stay" on my license. She looked at me and smiled, I asked what happened and she said "we won!".
She said it was almost a gurantee if the DMV hearing is won that the court case would be the same. After being as patient as I could, on the day I went to court (after many) the district attorney said that they were dropping the case, for "lack of evidence". She found the one single thing that probably saved my license, my life, my job..... because I don't know anything else but that.
I only rated her responsiveness good, because I felt like I should have been #1 even if she had other cases, that's natural for anyone in my situation to think and I only rated her being good in her knowledge, because she spoke with a colleage about the case and was helped. But we all learn new things in our journey to master our crafts. I don't hold that against her at all, she shared that fact with me and I would recommend her to anyone I know.
