When I first interviewed Kristina, I found her to be an excellent listener and a compassionate person. She was very patient as I told my story and she comprehended the facts of the case instantly. I recently had a first-time DUI arrest in Oakland. I was measured at a 0.12 blood alcohol level and it looked like I was in some serious trouble. I had no idea what to do or what I was facing. After searching the web and going to several appointments with different attorneys I found Kristina by chanc...e and she turned out to be the best attorney I could have ever asked for. Unlike the other attorneys I met, who seemed only interested in letting the process (both the DMV hearing and court case) take its course, Kristina listened to what had happened and all the circumstances of my arrest. She immediately made me feel better about the whole incident and what we were likely to be facing. She explained the entire process, what penalties were likely, what we might hope for given the facts of my case. Over the next few months, Kristina conscientiously worked through our entire case taking care of all the hearings and appointments. She arranged and represented me at the DMV hearing and she spotted a number of problems and inconsistencies in the DMV reports. This resulted in the DMV license suspension being set aside, which is a rare and amazingly good outcome. She also attended to all the court proceedings including negotiating a settlement with the District Attorney. Her arguments were obviously understood and received well. The DUI was reduced to an offer of a wet reckless with significantly lesser penalties. I received a fine and two years probation, and no school time. So, in total, this was about the best possible outcome I could have hoped for. This was all thanks to Kristina. If left to any of the other attorneys I met, we would never have reached this outcome and would have faced far stiffer fines, a long license suspension, and other severe consequences. Kristina is a great attorney, very professional, very conscientious. She is also an extremely kind and caring person. Sometimes bad things can happen to good people and I was very glad to have Kristina in my corner when trouble came to me.

I was home for two weeks from a deployment in Afghanistan.
