Elliot Silver

Elliot is an excellent lawyer. He took over my case, after the attorney that was originally assigned to my case was fired by the firm for incompetence. So basically, I had been assured that my case was a slam dunk by the lead attorney of the firm, but then I was given a rookie attorney who was in ove...r his head. Elliot met me at court before one of my hearings and assured me that now that this was his case, he would help me get through it, and he told me not to worry about what had been happening with my previous attorney. I don't want to get into the details of my case, but basically, Elliot has kept in touch with me throughout, he has made sure I'm informed of my options, he has been at my hearings as well as worked tirelessly behind the scenes, as well as he worked with the DA to get me a fair shot at my case. When we return to court this august, I will have an infraction, rather than a criminal conviction.(I truly believe that had Elliot been my attorney from day one, he would have had this case dismissed). Given what he started with, he did as he had assured me he would. I decided not to take my case to trial, only because I am tired and ready to move on with my life. However, based on what I saw, I have no doubt Elliot would have delivered a favorable verdict. But he listened to my concerns & didn't pressure me to decide either way. I'm glad he's my lawyer. My daughter who just moved to NorCal to attend college got caught in a petty theft incident at an electronics store. To cut the story short, everything went well-- Atty Silver was a great counsel, did not come intimidating at all to a teenager; he was very assuring. Atty Silver reviewed all fronts of the case, appeared on her behalf in court, and was able to get her into a Program to avoid the charge and conviction. And this was very important to us. He explained his strategy for my husbands case ( a misdemeanor drug possession, turned into a felony due to prior criminal history) We really thought he might go back for prison, the charge carried up to 15 years.
