When I saw his ad and he explained that the processes was a negotiation, I knew I had the right guy and gave him a call. After speaking with him he help calm my nerves and gave me hope. Because of my prior fellony there was always this underlying feeling that it could go bad though. But he's a negot...iator and when he go in and talk to the prosecutor he basically had the prosecution agree to the bare minimum and got me so that I could take a couple of classes and have my record wiped. I didn't finish the program and probation was recommending the court to throw the maximum sentence back at me that's when I had to call him for the 2nd Time. The second time what's an outcome that was not only unheard of but nothing short of a miracle and Thomas Fleming was a true hero the second time around. I cannot explain how grateful and thankful I am for Thomas Fleming. He is the absolute BEST LAWYER I have ever met, let alone the most honest and transparent. I spent days researching and speaking with several lawyers in the surrounding Bay Area (calling roughly 15). Thomas was a great lawyer and worth the money. He successfully got my DUI reduced to a wet reckless as well as a not guilty result for my DMV trial. After the judge read the judgment, another lawyer in the room stopped by and said, "wow, I've never seen that result ever in this County." Generally, I do not write reviews, but I had to create an Avvo account and write a review for Thomas Fleming. This guy saved me. My story: I am a boring, law-abiding citizen. The closest run-in I had with the Law is getting a ticket for running a red light years ago. I have never even gotten... a speeding ticket. One day, I had a few drinks with friends at my usual watering hole and made the mistake of driving. I didn’t drink a lot, felt perfectly fine, and lived literally less than a mile away. I was pulled over for making an illegal U-Turn at a light. Keep in mind, I lived in the same area for a few years and have never noticed that “No U-Turn” sign. I felt I passed the field sobriety test and took a breathalyzer. I scored a .08. The two officers looked at each other after my breathalyzer because they knew I passed the field sobriety test. I was then handcuffed and taken to the Station for a DUI. At the Station, I took the more accurate Intoxilyzer and scored a .07. I knew I was not drunk. The officer still charged me. After the ordeal, I was in a panic the following day and began researching for lawyers to help with my case and that was when I found Thomas. One phone call with him and I knew I had to hire him. Thomas was emphatic, confident, and re-assuring. Talking with him immediately put me at ease. He explained to me the situation and the next steps. Based on the information I provided him, he was confident that he would be able to get my case dismissed. The first thing he did was address my hearing with the DMV APS. This enabled me to get my license back. Next, he contacted the DA and was able to dismiss my case like he originally stated. He’s a man of his word. At the end of the day, I made a mistake.
