District Attorneys are in the business of prosecution. Because of this, you should hire an attorney who has always been in the business of defending individual's rights under Constitution of the United States.
One of my personal goals as your attorney is to wipe clean the stigma and stain that a false or erroneous charge can create in your personal and professional life. I do this by focusing on the clients represented by my practice and focusing on the needs of the individual client. My practice is based on providing the best outcome for the client. If this includes trial, then I aggresively move towards trial and diligently pursue and provide the attention to detail that trial requires. If your case does not or should not require a trial then my contacts throughout the defense community will allow me to enhance your chances of receiving a fair and reasonable outcome.
If you are looking for aggresive, honest, reasonably priced representation, then I look forward to helping you through your case, shielding you, protecting you, and defending you to the best of my ability.
Respectfully,
Steve Whitworth, Esq.

Excellent communication and results! Steve Whitworth was present through every step of the case, always answered my calls, and ultimately got the case dismissed. I highly recommend his services.

I hired this attorney and he did nothing but robbed me of my $1,500 retainer. I have asked him to refund me 4x and filed a small claims case against him with additional money!

I am having an EXTREMELY disappointing experience with Attorney Steve Whitworth. Despite being paid upfront, he fails to communicate leaving me completely in the dark. The couple times he has communicated, he lied confidently through his teeth and made me feel positive only to find out he lied about...

Hired him to represent me 3 years ago. He has met with me a total of 1 time. Have had several promises by his staff that they are on it and will do better. We'll in 3 years nothing has changed at all. I was suppose to have a court hearing 6 weeks ago. I still have not heard if he even showed up. I h...
"I was Steve's law professor when he was a law student. He stood out head and shoulders above everyone else. I knew this guy was going to be really good in criminal defense. He later interned at the public defender, where he gained a reputation for skill, charm and charisma. (One of the clerks immediately developed a crush on him!) As a criminal defense/DUI attorney, Steve has proven to me and my colleagues that he is among the very best in the field. His presence, dedication, hard work ethic, skill and persuasive power define him as a leader among criminal defense/DUI attorneys. Given my current position as a U,C, Berkeley faculty member, I am often asked for recommendations. I would give Steve, without reservation, my highest endorsement as a top-flight criminal defense and DUI defense attorney."
"I endorse Steve as a stand up guy with a very capable legal mind, able to fight for his clients rights."
"Steven has the charisma it takes to charm juries, judges, and district attorneys - along with the passion and tenaciousness it takes to thoroughly investigate each case and take it to trial. He cares about his clients, is a member of the California DUI Lawyers Association, and has an excellent reputation for successfully defended all kinds of criminal cases. I've known him for quite some time and if he takes your case, you should feel confident that you are in excellent hands."
"Steve Whitworth is a great criminal defense lawyer. He gets his clients amazing results. He capable of taking on the hard cases and winning them. I wholeheartedly endorse him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Whitworth is aggressive but also good natured and well-liked. In my case with Mr. Whitworth, I saw him chip away at the government until his case was dismissed. Mr. Whitworth's client walked while every one of his co-defendants pled guilty or was found guilty at trial."
"I had the opportunity to work alongside Steve in a case where we represented codefendants and witnessed his ability to effectively advocate on behalf of his client. As a result of his advocacy and skill as a negotiator charges against his client were dismissed."
"Steve is a fine asset to the criminal defense bar. He serves his clients well and is professional, timely and courteous."
