I received my Juris Doctorate Degree from UC Hastings College of the Law with an emphasis in Criminal Law, and received my Bachelor's Degree from UC Berkeley in Rhetoric.  I am a Partner with the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, a civil litigation firm. 

Presently, I specialize in the area of general civil litigation, specifically serious and catastrophic personal injury cases, professional malpractice, bad faith insurance, and business litigation. I specialize in cases involving complex issues of liability and damages.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos as an attorney, I worked with the District Attorneys’ office in San Mateo and San Francisco. I also practiced general civil litigation, specifically in the areas of real estate, contract disputes, and personal injury.

I also served as a JAG officer in the California State Military Reserve, which serves in assisting civil authorities during domestic emergencies and assisting in the mobilization and demobilization process of the National Guard. My duties involved serving as legal counsel to National Guard soldiers regarding domestic legal matters prior to and following their deployment, and other matters related to military law.

Professional, knowledgable and dedicated
I retained Ilya Frangos of Galine, Frye & Fitting on a business litigation matter involving a frivolous lawsuit filed in federal court. Ilya guided me through the case and helped make sure that I understood the process. He was tenacious and we were able to file paperwork that got the case dismissed. I was very pleased with Ilya's knowledge of the law and his hard work. He always took the time to answer all my questions and helped put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend him and this firm!

Professional & dedicated representation
Ilya Frangos was recommended to me by a friend. I was in a serious motorcycle accident where the other party ran a stop sign and hit me. I had major injuries and the other insurance company involved offered me $4200 as a settlement. That would not have covered even a portion of my medical bills. Ilya Frangos was committed to getting me a fair settlement. I was off work for 5 months, and Ilya helped me get a settlement that covered all of my lost wages, and paid off all the medical bills. Without the hard work and dedication of Ilya, I would be in serious financial trouble for an accident that was not my fault.

Ilya Frangos is the best lawyer I have dealt with ever
Ilya represented me on a difficult motor vehicle accident that involved issues regarding who was at fault and complicated injuries that I had from the accident. He was persistent, detail oriented, and really took the time to explain the process and make sure that I understood every step of my case. He was knowledgeable about my injuries and all my medical treatment and how it affected both my health and my case. I would highly recommend Ilya to anyone looking for an attorney. He made a very difficult time in my life easier because of his efforts and I will always be grateful for it.
