Where to start ? Well last year was a experience to learn and share. About a year ago I was out and about with some co- workers and had a little too many drinks, to the point where I was under the influence and go behind the wheel , next thing I know , I woke up behind the wheel and reared ended som...eone, the passenger got a minor cut due to her phone hitting her eyebrow and SFPD AND SF Sheriff came to the scene and ran the test . My alcohol level was 3 times over the limit and I was book for a DUI and sat down in jail for 3 days , on the third night the DA dropped my felonies into misdemeanors and was released . Got on the web to look for a lawyer and found Aaron , I never had a lawyer and reading past reviews on Aaron , I took my chance on him , and man , I thank God because he came in a time where I was stressed out and didn’t know what was going to happen. He took care of everything and had to do what the courts told me to do . Accomplished what the courts told me to do and today got the my case dismissed, I was in disbelief when Aaron told me the outcome. All I know is Aaron is a great lawyer , he’s understanding and does his best for his clients ! If I could give Aaron Bortel more stars, I would. I was in a panic after getting a DUI arrest when I was out of town- also involving hitting a parked car. The DA wanted to also stick me with a hit and run charge - Aaron was able to get this charge dismissed and also negotiate out of the interlock dev...ice (note - depending on the county in which you get a DUI, this may not always be negotiable). But the bottom line is , Aaron will do everything he can to get you the best possible outcome. Not only is he an amazing lawyer- he is an incredibly compassionate and warm person. If he weren't such a great lawyer he should be a therapist. Aaron is also very responsive (more so than many of my family members!) - he always called, texted or emailed me back within the same day. One review I read questioned whether the services are worth the money - in fact, I think he's not charging enough given the quality of service. Aaron is an amazing lawyer. Got me out of a huge mess by reducing my DUI charges to a reckless driving and even winning the DMV hearing ! My license was hence intact. All this within 8 months....
