I had never had any dealings with a criminal attorney but have dealt with multiple attorneys in corporate matters.  Without any reservations, I would recommend Marcia to anyone who needs an attorney who is a complete professional, will give you their complete attention, do what needs to be done for your case, and will treat you fairly financially.  Never would I have believed that I had to deal with domestic violence criminal case and a restraining order case.  I immediately began my search for help reaching out to attorneys including a larger firm recommended to me by my EAP.  When I met Marcia I felt immediately that she was the best person to deal with my situation.  She listened to my story and immediately developed a strategy to try to get the cases dismissed. I found Marcia over fifteen years ago when I was dealing with a Felony assault case. She was very professional and understanding, she pretty much walked me thru the very difficult and intimidating procedures of dealing with a criminal case. She met with the DA and they worked out a fair deal that I was happy with. She even helped me reduce my felony to a misdemeanor. My husband and I are new to the world of looking for a lawyer to represent us in our criminal case. We were so worried that we couldn't afford a lawyer plus not to mention that we were extremely skeptical of being ripped off. After calling several different lawyers offices on Yelp, I decided to meet with them. Most lawyers we met with were pushy, aggressive and promised too much to the point it wasn't credible. The charges began as felony charges then Marcia was able to get the court to charge it as only misdemeanor. Soon after she was able convince the DA to transfer our case to neighborhood court! Neighborhood court basically is a program where you complete one or more requirements to have all charges dropped against you. It's the best option if you don't want a permanent record. At the time our case was in neighborhood court, the other party decided to go to neighborhood court and make new false claims to get us kicked out. Marcia refused to give up and fought to get us back in. In the end not only were we able to go to neighborhood court but she was able to seal our records in our last court appearance! So not only are our backgrounds clear but we didn't have to go through the normal year long process of sealing our records! We can't be more happy to know that we can finally say that we should of never been arrested, that we are innocent and we can finally continue with our normal lives. Initially we worried because I saw that these charges were pending and we could of lost our jobs. My husband and I are so thankful to have met Marcia. To top it off, she was also able to guide us through helping us with our restraining order and eviction cases. If she can help you in anyway possible she will. That's the type of person she is. She spent time calling her lawyer friends and connections to guide us as best as she can. She even convinced an eviction lawyer to take on our case pro bono and referred us to a bankruptcy lawyer as well. If she can help in any way she will. Marcia is a phenomenal lawyer! Her legal mastery and acumen are evident as she is willing to go the extra mile and research options, make contacts and explore multiple strategies. This was so important to our case and a real game changer. Marcia worked closely with our family and had a sincere interest in making sure that she reviewed every angle of my son’s case.
