I began my legal career clerking for the Hon. Robert E. Bowen in the Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After I finished law school, I clerked for the Hon. Thomas Forsberg with the Minnesota Court of Appeals. I presently practice criminal defense, real estate and civil litigation in the Eastern Sierra. I have a niche practice representing mountain guides with the Forest Service. I like to ski, hike, climb and run in the mountains.

Ms Hankel is a very unethical attorney.I picked her out of a phone book and it was a huge mistake ! I was ticketed for driving with out a license in Mono County.I paid my fines but she was dead set on me doing work release instead of house arrest.House arrest in Riverside County is washing police car...
Well, I'm not really sure what more I could have done for Kirk. We had a 10-hour Retainer Agreement which ended at trial or a plea. Within that Retainer, I drafted, filed and litigated a Suppression Motion. The Court ultimately ruled that the stop was lawful, and I was then able to negotiate a jail sentence (max 6 months) to ten days and then have that converted to NO jail time, but to community service. I also got the IID installation requirement reduced from three years to six months. I spent over 30 hours on this case, but billed for only 10. 8 months after Kirk's plea, he was still requesting that I appear in court for him. After making numerous court appearances after the plea, requesting changes to the agreement per my client, I requested to be paid for additional services not covered by the 10-hour agreement. I am sure that Kirk's later health problems made him feel unduly punished by the Court.

NO THANKS TOO!!
ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Therese will "woo" you with her "acting talents" whack your ATM card TWICE when you gave her specific dates for deposit and final charge. Yet, her office still took it upon themselves to Charge my card when they felt like it and they ALL failed to provide me with an updated c...
