I was charged with DUI with a BAC of .24% and Misdameanor Hit and Run.As this was not my first experience in Ventura County, I knew that I was facing one of the toughest court systems in California, I decided that I needed to represented on this matter. She wasn't the cheapest attorney in town but she is reasonably priced and the value she delivered far exceeded her fees. Throughout the case, Mindy kept me well informed of all case developments.She was always very responsive to me calls and questions, and even went out of her way to contact me after normal office hours on several occassions. She even gave me a call prior to going on vacation, just to let me know she would be out of town, and who to contact in her office if any questions came up. Her staff is very professional and responsive as well. Aside from her experience and knowledge of the Ventura County Court system, Mindy was very realistic with the possible outcomes. Mindy did not try to set unrealistic expecations. Mindy reviewed the evidence and provided a very honest accessment of the costs, risks, and likely outcomes of numerous options of pleading, going to trial etc. She did not attempt attempt to sell me something she could not deliver. Situation: elderly (88) driver; drove after taking antidepressant, drinking wine and had an accident. Driver was taken to jail & given blood test. Release a few hours later.
