Mindy McQueen represented me and is by far, the most knowledgable, strategic, well connected attorney i've ever met. I was arrested for DUI a few months ago and Mindy closed my case this week with the best result I could hope for given the circumstances. I was arrested for DUI in Ventura county and had a BAC of .19. In addition to the standard charges of the DUI, I was facing severe repercussions of a .15 enhanceme...nt charge. This would include a 9 month alcohol class and court ordered stipulations against being in establishments that serve alcohol for 3 years. The severity of these would truly affect my professional life. Fantastic Mindy was able to get the DA to drop this additional charge. I still have to complete my responsibilities in regards to the general DUI charge but it seems so much more feasible now with Mindy's help. Administratively Mindy made this process so easy for me. You absolutely could not ask for better representation! Mindy was the consummate professional. She got my license back, after I was released from jail immediately. She told me exactly what I needed to know, and not what she thought I might want to hear. She got me the best possible results I could ha...ve asked for, and had my necessary paperwork back to me, with full instructions, the same day as my trial (I have heard horror stories of lawyers not getting paperwork back to clients until it was too late to meet judicial timelines). Two months ago I was arrested for a DUI after crashing my vehicle into a brick wall. I waited until the day before my court date to contact Mindy, and she was still able to meet with me and appear in court for me the following day. It immediately struck me how knowledgeable she was about DUI's and I... knew that I would be in good hands. Also, because I did not schedule a DMV hearing, my license was suspended, but if I had called Mindy immediately after the DUI she probably would have avoided that suspension because she was able to find a discrepancy in the breath tests. Mindy was a pleasure to deal with, kept me informed of the entire process and let me know exactly what I needed to do to minimize the impact of getting a DUI. Lastly, you know you have a GREAT lawyer when she is working to finish your case the day she is scheduled to leave on vacation for two weeks because she does not want you, her client, to be wondering what is going to happen.
