Mindy H McQueen

In November of 2007 I had the unfortunate experience of being pulled over late in the evening by the Highway Patrol on my way home from a party. While I felt capable of driving it was still a serious mistake on my part after having had several glasses of wine that evening. I was arrested for driving ...under the influence of alcohol. The next day I immediately began researching who I might retain to provide me with the best legal defense in this situation. After a couple of days of looking in to this and speaking to quite a few attorneys, it was pretty clear to me that Mindy McQueen, compared to the other folks I had spoken to, was a straight shooter, direct and to the point, no games and no "feel good" chatter. She made it very clear about what I was going to have to deal with, what she could do to help protect my interests, and what she could do to help make it an efficient process given the circumstances. To put this all behinds me. I chose Mindy because she was smart. I am under 21 and had a .014 BAC. My first time calling her she told me of a way to fight the DUI, by only winning, for me the more important court case if the officer shows up in court and not the DMV. I was pleased with the answer bec...ause I was willing to take the risk and did not have enough money to represent me at the DMV. I did alot of research about my DUI and my options and she was the first to tell me this. I was convinced that she was what I was looking for, even though she was out of my price range as I am student. After I paid her, I had such a hectic time speaking with her. I just had simple questions about the case which were very important to me and she would not have the patience to speak normally to me. I had major anxiety just to speak to her, I was hoping for it all to be finished. The only time I could speak to her normally was her payday, the day of the court appearance. The officer did not show up to court so it is not on my record for 10 years, but the suspension is still in affect.
