Adjuster
George Corson is a very aggressive and diligent workers' compensation defense attorney. He handles files in an expeditious manner and ensures that the client is apprised of all matters and satisfied with proposed plans of action. He is also confident and successful in litigating all matters on a file...
"I endorse this lawyer. He handled uninsured employer's matter quickly. He is very knowledgeable representing uninsured employers."
"George Corson IV is the "go to" attorney for representation of uninsured employers in Southern California workers' compensation litigation. Mr. Corson is perhaps the only attorney in Southern California who specializes in this arcane and difficult area of workers' compensation law when an employer lacks workers' compensation insurance coverage for a claimed injury. Mr. Corson also defends employers on Labor Code 132a discrimination claims and on petitions for a finding of serious and willful misconduct of the employer. Very few attorneys have much experience in litigating these types of claims on behalf of the employer. Since he specializes in defending employers in these types of claims, he is less expensive than business litigator types that dabble in the area from time to time."
"An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community, I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of his clients and getting them the most favorable result possible."
"Mr. Corson is a knowledgeable attorney who has demonstrated an exceptional willingness to share his time and expertise with those he can help."
"I endorse this lawyer. His AVVO posts demonstrate his deep understanding of complex legal issues. His answers are always thoughtful, accurate, and they evidence his genuine interest in helping people."
"Attorney Corson is a knowledgeable lawyer who is generous with his time and expertise. I recommend him."
"Like many others endorsements here on Avvo, I have read countless answers Mr. Corson has posted on this site and almost universally agree with him. It is obvious that he knows the law and his willingness to share his knowledge justifies an endorsement."
"I endorse this lawyer. George's knowledge of workers' compensation is apparent once you read his very thoughtful responses to the many questions he answers on Avvo. His contribution to the workers' compensation community is quite valued."
"George is an aggressive advocate and knowledgeable counselor who has earned the respect of his peers in the legal community and the gratitude of her clients."
"When a lawyer reads another lawyer's answer and says "Wow", it really was a great answer. Accurate, analytic, and customized to the needs of the Avvo asker. Precisely the qualities an Avvo asker would be looking for in an attorney. It's been five years since I posted the endorsement above. I just read another particular answer of Mr. Corson that was a total "bullseye" hitting the solution directly on the mark. What a great service for Avvo Askers."
"I endorse Attorney Corson. From his answers and time on Avvo, it is clear he is dedicated to serving those in need and his clients. It's rare that lawyers spend so much valuable time helping the community, for free, and I applaud him for doing it to such a great level. Kudos."
"I endorse Mr. Corson. He is an excellent attorney who consistently provides solid responses to questions posed by members of the Avvo community."
"I have had many cases with Mr. Corson over the years and have found him to be a knowledgeable, ethical and aggressive adversary. He knows how to get things done and move a case along. I could think of many defense attorneys who could learn from his example."

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2014.
Discipline with Actual Suspension issued in CA, 2014

“Co-Counsel wanted a 35% Fee from the WCAB. I told her that only 15% would be awarded, but she did not believe me. I changed the 35% Fee to 15% (after notice) to get the document approved, which was ultimately awarded. The Civil Attorney received the entire awarded 15% fee, but made the State Bar Complaint. I was found to have altered the document without her permission. All WC witnesses confirmed that a 35% fee was impossible, and I received no benefit.”
