The hardest thing I have dealt with in my life is looking into the eyes of a planned child who has been abandoned by his biological father. The second hardest was having to exercise court intervention, after trying to avoid that route at all cost, because he resisted assuming the bare minimum respons...ibility of paying full child support for our child. Last month, after nearly a year and a half of hard work, stress, emotional trauma and a contentious fight to achieve the goals of security and justice for my son and me, I won a milestone judgment. I recommend no one to help solve such important and personally crucial situations as the one I just faced, frivolously. But in this case, I do so profoundly, as Swati’s work was so extraordinary that I couldn’t think of a better way to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude than to recommend her services to my friends, colleagues and anyone who might at some point find themselves in similarly difficult situation with no clear path to resolution in dealing with a non-cooperative and contentious party.

Swati charged me SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS to read my emails and print/file the attachments even AFTER I FIRED HER. And worse, she never gave any indication that she had absolutely no intention of using the extensive documentation I've accumulated about my ex-wife's undisclosed assets and income. In...stead, Swati effectively colluded with my ex by bullying me into a stipulated "settlement agreement" with an unwarranted "equalization payment" from debt-ridden me (I just want an equal share of my son's life) to my allegedly "poor" ex-wife (whose corporations hide her profitable real estate empire).

Having never written a review before, I feel compelled to share my experience with Swati Desai because I am beyond grateful for her. She is absolutely brilliant in the courtroom. She overwhelmed the other side with her preparedness and quick thinking. There was no question that she trumped the other ...attorney in intelligence, legal knowledge and ability to gauge the situation. She worked hard on my case and when she spoke, I felt I was truly represented - all of my concerns, fears, and desperate need to keep my family together was conveyed eloquently and effectively. I have been through many lawyers during my custody/divorce case. I've had attorneys who promised me everything up front and when it was time to perform they told me I had no case. When I hired Swati to handle my convoluted custody hearing I could sense she was different. She wasn't phased by the minutia yet she kept track of everything. She knew how to navigate and be in control of the situation. She is genuine and compassionate and she helped me stay calm while she strategized. Nothing is guaranteed but at least give it your best by having the best on your side.
