For years I was haunted by my past choices and decided to look into expungement, record gone came up in a google search and I took the plunge and I am so happy I did! The whole process took 6 months and I never had to appear in a courtroom. Matthew and Lydia made this process simple and got me results. I can now move on with my life!

I simply hire Higbee and Associates for my very minor record expungement January 2019. I get a general email to my account from Mathew Higbee himself thanking me at this time. I later receive an update from someone saying that my ISP report was requested. I received 2 same messages, I followed up and was told that it was requested twice by mistake. I was then told my account would be updated with the info from this ISP report. Never saw an update of info of this, or any case info received ever! 1/2019 through 7/2/19. Only by asking I was told that they received it back but it had no information. I had no idea what this meant. and Only in asking, was I told that they typically then request court records. I then follow up at some point to find out that my case is fine by different people and the actual Case Mgr., whose name is below Mr. Higbee changed numerous times between Jan to July 2019 with nothing even to begin the expungement process with the court. I follow up 3/2019 and was told the case was fine. I follow up April 2019 Only to find out that the court records have not even been requested. I am actually even having trouble finding this out as I am still just receiving general replies that “typically they request court records next.” I receive an email from a Supervising Paralegal named Melanie Dahl 4/17/19 saying that the court records were requested only now, April 15 as she then states “the persons involved in taking no action for 2 months are no longer working there.“ and “I should have been getting updates all along." No initiation to request court records from the time the ISP was received 2/2019 to 4/15/2019. Clearly only in one of my messages was one of the caseworkers even Alerted to do so in which they were even requested 4/15/19. Quite some time goes by so I follow up and was told that they have not heard anything yet. After 60 days I follow up with a message 6/18/2019 and I get a simple short reply from someone new of course Blake Perez who I never heard of before saying "we resubmitted the request for the records because it was lost." The first delay was early Feb to April 15, 2019 for no reason. Now, April 15, 2019 to June 18, 2019 and it was a reply to me June 20, 2019 with another 2 months in between to only hear first "they resubmitted the request." I try to find out if tracking was done on what happened and was only told that when they called "early June" the Clerk stated that they did not have the request." I'm thinking “early June?” and only in my message to you June 18, I get a reply about a lost request from you, June 20? I then ask again about tracking and Mr. Perez replies that “the request sent June 19, 2019 was sent with tracking.” When asking again about the one April 15 sent, I would get no response. I then simply sent an email request to the Attn of Melanie Dahl at this point because she is who came about with the previous issue of the "no action for 2 months and terminated employees." etc. It wasn't clear what was going on, but just to feel confident, at this extremely late point in time almost July 2019 now and there appeared to be even a lack of concern or explanation. I had even asked "has this happened ever before ? of lost record requests." and no answer. No replies to any for Melanie Dahl in fact never heard from her again. I had no idea if she was still there so I also said Melanie Dahl or Supervising Paralegal and no response. In no choice, I contact the BBB 6/28/19 to assist in being contacted by a Supervisor etc. It appeared even Mr. Higbee responded to other complaints himself. 7/2/19 I get a message from a Kelton Johnson. It was very inappropriate! saying my questions show "no restraint" and that I have always been contacted. He told me to remove the BBB complaint. Via online chat, 7/2 I asked for Ms. Dahl to call me. I was told she was in a meeting but would call. Kelton Johnson calls, sounding very ill. I get a message from him only that “my services are terminated.”

Was a pleasure being a customer of Higbee and Associates at Recordgone.com. They were straight forward and honest and they got the job done. They kept me up to date on the progress of my case the entire time.

I consulted with Mr. Higbee regarding copyright infringement. In my opinion he seems to only be interested in how much money he can make from a client, case or defendant. I felt that he was not truly concerned with what is right or wrong----just what he could make appear to be right or wrong. I am not buying into the post-truth thing. The truth IS the truth. I don't think a case should be blown them out of proportion just so he can make more money. I believe in justice, not vengeance. And I feel that his tactics are a bit, well, slimy. He seems to have non-lawyers and non-paraprofessionals doing the work. So I was wondering why he would charge his clients such huge 'attorneys fees'. In the end my gut feeling and what I read online about him made me decide that I'd rather not be connected with him in any way.

Everything that Mr. Higbee said he would do he did!!! His team is awesome too. They always responded to every questions quickly and in a timely manner. I am so happy with the service of this company. I can now get the job I have always wanted !!!

I have been waiting over 3 years to get my situation resolved. They dropped the ball the first time around, lost my file, made excuses and now I can't even get a response. I feel like they took my money and just blew me off.
