Maxine Ho

She took my $5k retainer and took off on vacation. I was desperate and entrusted her due to my metastatic adrenal cancer which she witnessed She promises a lot but cant deliver She is has showed up at my ex parte and excuse herself bcz urgent call from babysitter to go home rake care of her kids.... I was left behind alone in the court room for four hours she has accomplished nothing. The judge did not respect her dud not listen to her pleading nor award her attorney fees despite the documented disparity of income. Weak attorney for family law the other crooked attorney ran circles around her so dont be fooled by her lowball $400 hr in the end you get what you paid for. Nothing personal but attorneys her caliber running low on money and affects your case. She is just a processor or a papers pusher. Go get a $650 hr attorney who will cut to the chase and get you results . Nice but very weak attorney

My divorce case was a horrible one, and I retained Maxine from 2021 til now, 2023 and I am so glad that I found Maxine, she is an amazing attorney, she is tough and to the point when dealing with the other attorney, I went through lots of difficult time with my ex and Maxine always there to give me g...ood advice and she's always trying to protect my right. I have not come across decent attorneys even after an extensive search over a period of 4 years; however, I can say that Maxine is one of the few good ones. Unfortunately, I was forced to part ways with Maxine - nothing to do with her service but due to my financial limitations alone. I don't normally like to write about professionals because it's difficult to give an accurate assessment. However, I had a child custody issue and was searching the net for lawyers to talk to. I found Maxine and called her office. She picked up her own calls and was pleasant to speak to. She ta...lked to me for some time and answered all my questions. I informed her that I will keep her information and if my custody issue does not resolve I will call her. Long story short, I was not able to resolve the issue with the other party. I called Maxine back and retained her. She filed the necessary paperwork and also reached out to the opposing party. He didn't agree to my proposal. I didn't want to go to court knowing the possibility and costs associated with it. However, the other side didn't leave me with any choices. So, we went to court and Maxine fought hard. The judge at first didn't seem to favor our position but as the hearing went on, Maxine convinced the judge with her examination skills. The judge granted custody to me and ordered father to have parenting time per my request. I am so thankful for Maxine's hard work. She is very up front and will tell you things you don't want to hear but should hear. I hope that I don't have to return to court anytime soon, but if I do, I will be calling Maxine again.
