There is not a better workers compensation attorney out there!
I have used Mr. Dascanio services in a industrail injury matter, and the result were better then expected. Not just in the settlement, (money) but in getting my life back on track and into the work force. Mr. Dascanio went beyond what other attorneys do and explained in simple terms all aspects of workers' compensation. He had my best interest in mind, not just how much money was at stake, but how I could get better. And I do belive that becasue of his representation that I was able to get back into the work force much faster and recived my settlement offer and medical care without much time being lost. If I had to do this again, I would not use any other Attorney other then Dennis Dascanio. I recommend Mr. Dascanio to all my friends.
Maybe not the worst, but will do until the worst comes along
Avoid this guy.
From my perspective: did nothing more than go through the motions, file necessary paperwork, does minimal work, lets the insurance company run the show, and collects on whatever settlement is reached. Not at all responsive to my requests and thoughts on how to proceed with the case. Every time I wanted to discuss case (which his office made difficult), had to wait so (my best guess) they could review my paperwork and even then showed little to no specific knowledge of the particulars of my case. Communication was terrible, with my frequently learning of developments from the insurance company's attorneys after choices had been made.
There's lots of other Workers Comp attorneys and I suspect all of them are better.

I take personal responsibility that you were not given a timely appointment to speak with me. My office policy is to schedule appointments within one week of the request, and with rare exception, we are able to accomodate. As an attorney who handles Workers' Compensation, my schedule is busy, but I will always accomodate clients, no exception. Work Comp is a busy and complex process and often, clients need to speak to the attorney to answer questions. I hope this was just a misunderstanding. If you are a client, I ask that you immediately schedule an appointment to see me.
Stupid Hearing Reps Representing You
Mr. Dascanio has so many clients that he runs a "mill." Forget about winning your case. He sells out to the insurance company and tries to settle for as little as possible. And he sends you to ridiculously inept doctors--that get the facts wrong. The one he sent me to was 90+ years old and he never ordered an updated MRI from my injury in 2009--stating that patients don't get worse, they only get better. Yeah, maybe in Neverland.
