I am a Certified Family Law Specialist and represent clients in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and select matters in the Central Coast and Sacramento area. I work with clients of all background, including business owners, homemakers, those with 7/8 figure wealth, attorneys, doctors, therapists, teachers, and military servicemembers and veterans. I also work with forensic accountants, therapists, mediators, loan officers, real estate agents, and attorneys in other fields to holistically resolve your family law issues. I have a lot of experience in high conflict custody matters, including domestic and international move away, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues. While I litigate, I settle many of my cases because I maintain good relationships with my fellow family law attorneys, the Court, and other professionals, and work hard to know the facts of your matter so I can quickly work to resolve the matter with your partner/spouse. I strongly believe in the principal of informed consent. You will know where you stand and what decisions you can make so you can make the best choice for yourself and your family.
I love the practice of family law. I know it's an unwanted service, but one that is necessary. People often come to me when they have been victims of abuse, made personal mistakes that have caused an end of a marriage or relationship, or simply have grown apart. It's hard for many people to let go of the past and the end of the relationship and move forward. That is why I work with a variety of family law related experts (financial planners, forensic accountants, life coaches, real estate professionals and therapists) to help you divide assets, heal, and take control of your future and the legacy you want to leave your loved ones.
In my spare time, I enjoy the beach, cooking, hiking, reading, travel, and writing.
7/6/26: The Benefits of Traveling With Children:
One overlooked aspect of parenting is travel. Not everyone has the budget to fly to Europe for a two week vacation. But we all have the means to travel at least a little bit with our children. And you should. Why? Outside of strengthening bonds, children can experience increased empathy. Taking them to a museum of Natural History/Holocaust/Science/Culture, seeing the US Capitol building/White House/State Legislature are cost effective ways for children to see how life was lived in the past, how humanity struggled at various times, our greatest triumphs, and how we move forward. Exposing children to travel, in particular culture and history will expand their scope of the world and develop compassion. It's also one thing to read a textbook and a very different experience observing history in person.
Exposing children to diversity is also important. They need to learn about new experiences, trying new cuisines, hear different languages. This encourages them to be more accepting of others.
Children also develop greater independence in travel. Helping build a campsite, navigate a train station with you, learning a couple words in a different language. Sightseeing during road trips. This can help children develop confidence in themselves which will benefit them as they become adults.
Travel agreements are an important part of custody agreements. Many of my clients are from different countries, who came to California for a better life. Their family has greater needs for ironclad travel orders to allow them to return to their home countries to visit their families. Also, I have a lot of clients that are jet setters with their children. If travel is a priority in your custody matter, make sure you ask for orders that allow you to continue to expose your children to travel outside of California, along with durations of travel, etc.
Happy to have a conversation about your family issues and can be contacted at my office by phone, email, in person meetings at the office, Zoom/Google Meet, WhatsApp for my prospective foreign clients at 714. 335. 4683 , and Google Voice at 949. 287. 8301.

Strong Representation
I found myself facing a contempt case filed by my child’s father after 4 years custody battle and I needed to find an attorney that was fair, strong, professional, and most importantly, compassionately human. I found all these characteristics in Mr. Daniel McCammon who was assigned to me by the law f...

NOT PROFESSIONAL, BULLY and LIED to ME !! Hostile OFFICE staff !!
Hi Daniel seems as though he would be the perfect attorney he is pretty sharp , pretty knowledgeable and attentive . I deceided to hire HIM .. as soon as the payment was made his office staff ( Selena and Donna ) would never let me talk to him when I called and they would often say he was busy but ...
This is a false review. This individual has never been a client of mine. However, I opposed this party in a Domestic Violence Restraining Order case and she didn't even get a temporary restraining order, which is a rare outcome! She is obviously unhappy with her outcome in the case. She has left me messages on Facebook, harassed my staff, and has made these false representations about me on Avvo.com along with another attorney review site. I am considering my legal options against her, which include defamation. It is my hope that this individual will remove this false review here and on the other site and move on with her life.

Grateful FL client
Words will never be able to adequately express my gratitude for the work that Daniel has done on my behalf. He represented me in what should have been a simple divorce; short marriage, no children, no debts. It was not simple at all. Because the other party filed first in CA, and I moved to FL, a...
