I am a Certified Family Law Specialist and represent clients in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and select matters in the Central Coast and Sacramento area. I work with clients of all background, including business owners, homemakers, those with 7/8 figure wealth, attorneys, doctors, therapists, teachers, and military servicemembers and veterans. I also work with forensic accountants, therapists, mediators, loan officers, real estate agents, and attorneys in other fields to holistically resolve your family law issues. I have a lot of experience in high conflict custody matters, including domestic and international move away, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues. While I litigate, I settle many of my cases because I maintain good relationships with my fellow family law attorneys, the Court, and other professionals, and work hard to know the facts of your matter so I can quickly work to resolve the matter with your partner/spouse. I strongly believe in the principal of informed consent. You will know where you stand and what decisions you can make so you can make the best choice for yourself and your family.
I love the practice of family law. I know it's an unwanted service, but one that is necessary. People often come to me when they have been victims of abuse, made personal mistakes that have caused an end of a marriage or relationship, or simply have grown apart. It's hard for many people to let go of the past and the end of the relationship and move forward. That is why I work with a variety of family law related experts (financial planners, forensic accountants, life coaches, real estate professionals and therapists) to help you divide assets, heal, and take control of your future and the legacy you want to leave your loved ones.
In my spare time, I enjoy the beach, cooking, hiking, reading, travel, and write.
4/6/2026: Easter/Dig Down/Defining Faith in Yourself in a Dystopian World:
"When hope and love have been lost, and you fall to the ground, you must find a way." "Against all the odds you find a way, dig down, dig down, dig down and find faith." Portions of the lyrics of the song Dig Down, by Muse.
Easter is an overlooked holiday. Aside from the egg hunts and pictures with a large bunny, what Easter really means to a lot of people, including me, is reviewing your faith. Most importantly, your faith in yourself. The religious component of the holiday is both dark and bright. All the suffering that Jesus Christ went through, the self-doubt at times, and at the end, his death and becoming alive again. Many people review their own faith during this time, regardless of whether they are religious. It's because life can be very difficult. We all have major challenges to overcome. Easter comes before or just after both very happy and dark times in my own life, just like yours.
Two examples. 1) Savannah Guthrie. Her mother is still missing. She was out of work for several months and came back to work today. At her own church yesterday, she stated "“We celebrate today the promise of a new life that never ends in death. But standing here today, I have to tell you, there are moments in which that promise seems irretrievably far away,” “When life itself seems far harder than death.” She continued "“These moments of deep disappointment with God, the feeling of utter abandonment. For most of us, there will come a time in our life when these feelings hold sway.” But ended with "“I see a bright vision of the day when heaven and earth pass away because they are one on earth as it is in heaven. When we celebrate today, this is what we celebrate. And I celebrate too. I still believe. And so, I say with conviction: Happy Easter.” Her mother is still missing. She is still grieving something that few of us can completely relate to. Yet she moves forward.
2) This weekend, a F-15 was shot down in Iran. One pilot was rescued quickly, the other was injured and required a major rescue operation to secure him. He had to spend two days in hiding, against all odds, with many enemy soldiers attempting to locate him. He was found and is safe now. There will probably be a movie about this in a few years. It took faith and perseverance for him to get through this, and a lot of skill from the US military.
We live in a very difficult time period. For as much advances as humanity have made, there are so many challenges. Many people are losing their jobs because of AI, and these people are white collar professionals who will have a very difficult time finding employment. There are numerous major conflicts in the world today (Iran/Israel/US), (Ukraine/Russia) that are dragging the world economy down. Gas prices are up. In California, we had the hottest March ever, seeing temperatures rise to levels that occur in August, and fires are already starting up. There is so much political division in the United States. It feels like we are entering a dystopian phase that we read about in fictional novels.
The people that seek my help are already going through the most difficult time period of their lives. The macro events occurring around us compound their problems, because a number of my clients have lost jobs, and are having to account for increases in their monthly expenses. It can all feel overwhelming when you are going through a family law case.
It's important to get help, which is why I am here for you. Attorneys, financial experts, therapists, real estate agents, your family, they can all help you. Talk to you. Be a sounding board. Help you sell your home. Help you navigate your finances. But we cannot make decisions for you. We cannot heal you. We cannot separate emotion from fact for you. That is why it is important, as so many people do, to press forward when everything seems be falling apart. That is why it is important to "dig down" and find faith in yourself. It's not easy. Faith in yourself can ebb and flow. But you can get through this. Happy to help you, and Happy Easter.

Represent Yourself
This guy is weak beyond belief. He should become the host to" Let's Make a Deal" as long as it is easy. I do not think he ever did one thing for me he said he would. Was extremely passive against opposing counsel, no arguments, just did not care how I got treated. Would not recommend him in a mock t...

NOT PROFESSIONAL, BULLY and LIED to ME !! Hostile OFFICE staff !!
Hi Daniel seems as though he would be the perfect attorney he is pretty sharp , pretty knowledgeable and attentive . I deceided to hire HIM .. as soon as the payment was made his office staff ( Selena and Donna ) would never let me talk to him when I called and they would often say he was busy but ...
This is a false review. This individual has never been a client of mine. However, I opposed this party in a Domestic Violence Restraining Order case and she didn't even get a temporary restraining order, which is a rare outcome! She is obviously unhappy with her outcome in the case. She has left me messages on Facebook, harassed my staff, and has made these false representations about me on Avvo.com along with another attorney review site. I am considering my legal options against her, which include defamation. It is my hope that this individual will remove this false review here and on the other site and move on with her life.
