Ken Carlson- A great tenant lawyer/advocate!

I had a great experience with Ken. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding tenant law. He was concise and direct. I hired him for advice and to prepare a case in Superior Count against my prior landlord. Fortunately, by understanding my rights and with the threat of a real and justifiable lawsui...t the landlord returned 100% of the security deposit she was holding in bad faith. I would recommend Ken 100%.

Get the BEST

I cannot thank Ken Carlson enough. He helped me get through one of the roughest times of my life. I was facing dilapidated conditions, eviction, foreclosure, and to make matters worst a court ordered property management receiver was thrown into the picture. I was fighting two entities not just one. W...hile searching the internet for a lawyer, I found Ken Carlson's website. There was a plethora of useful information, but what got me hooked was The Game Board page. I called Ken who is a pleasure to speak with, a real people person. Ken asked what my situation was and he gave me advice. He made things plain and clear. He answered my questions without any doubts. It was 7 months of paper war before a settlement was agreed upon. I believe if I hadn't found Ken I would have been evicted long ago and had the burden of uprooting my family and moving. Ken walked me through how to get the repairs that I needed and deserved done. Ken knows his business and I was lucky to find him. Throughout the 7 months I paid no rent. I also have security in case the foreclosure ends by way of auction or sale. He is the best. Thanks Ken.

BEST Lawyer you could ever hire! Hands down most knowledgable landlord/tenant lawyer, just follow his instructions and WIN!!!

I am so happy I found Ken..He not only understood why I was taking "the riskiest route" when I had enough and had made my decision to withhold rent, he led me step by step in a route to CHECKMATE! I may be speaking too soon as my case is still unresolved, however, I can not figure any possible way fo...r the other party to prevail...they have lost and they have no idea how to proceed! I had been told by every lawyer I had previously consulted, not to proceed as I wanted to...they all said it was too risky. .. and while I was scared, Ken helped us get thru court clerk mistakes as well as our own misguided ideas of how to proceed...and he made it fun...he's funny and extremely knowledgeable in all landlord tenant issues - there is absolutely no way we would be in the position we are in without him! The opposing parties attorney actually called him "notorious" when he was denied his motion and wanted the Judge to know I was "not actually in pro per" because Ken's name was on the proof of service. The judge waved him off as it didn't make any difference - but winning does make all the difference - if you want to win, I really couldn't recommend Ken enough...he predicted every single move of the other party - to the "T". When I told him how amazed I was, he explained he wasn't clairvoyant , he had just had enough experience. I am writing this review in hopes that other tenants read it and hire him - he's so knowledgeable and affordable - I want every mistreated tenant to feel what it feels like when the tables turn and you are holding all the cards...and it's even better when Ken has kept you laughing all along the way! He is the best there is. Thank you Ken Carlson - you deserve an award for the most awesome tenant attorney on the planet!!

Ken Carlson is an outstanding eviction attorney and did a great job for me!

I was very fortunate to find Ken Carlson on the internet. I was facing an eviction, and I knew I wanted to stand up to my arrogant landlord and enforce my legal rights, but I had no idea who to turn to. I was getting nervous because all I kept finding on the internet were companies that had fancy w...ebsites, but they weren't lawyers, they simply were companies that claimed they could help with eviction assistance. Then I started noticing these companies domain names would change every few weeks. Not a good sign. Thankfully I came across Ken Carlson's website. After reading his website, seeing he has been in this business for over 30 years, I knew this was my guy! First of all, he is a real attorney! And he had so much helpful information on his website, it was so professional, I knew this is the man I would put my trust in, and I am so glad I did. Ken knows Eviction law like Michael Jordan knows basketball! He enlightened me about what my rights were, and went over what different strategies which would be best to give me the best possible outcome. Ken was so good that we actually beat my landlord's 1st eviction attempt, and made him start all over. His motions are amazingly well written and definately money well spent. Because of Ken's expertise, I was able to stay in my house for about 4 months after my 1st eviction notice, all while not paying rent, of course! In the end, I was able to settle my eviction with my landlord with NO judgement, and NO eviction on my record! That is what I call a VICTORY! I just want to say if you feel you are being wrongly evicted, and you want to stand up to your landlord and show him you won't be pushed around without a fight, then run, don't walk to schedule a consultation with Ken Carlson. After talking with him, you will gain so much confidence in him and your situation. Don't jeopardize your rights by going with these fly by night companies that may seem cheaper at first, believe me, you will regret it. Especially when the clerk and the judge at the courthouse makes a mistake that can ruin your whole case, then what are you going to do? If I didn't have Ken at my side, I would have lost my case in about a month, because both the clerk and the judge violated the law and almost ruined the whole case for me, but thankfully Ken Carlson was able to force them to correct their mistake and put me back on the winning track. In conclusion, if you want to fight your eviction, then hiring Ken Carlson as your attorney will be some of the best money you will ever spend, no question whatsover!

The Knowledge Mr. Calson Provided Me with has been Invaluable

I am not surprised Mr. Carlson has had some type of disciplinary ding on his record. He is straightforward and tells things like they are. Sometimes people just cannot handle the truth, especially when it comes to landlords wanting to keep the tenants in this country ignorant and subservient. ...Ken is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and offers a plethora of great information on his website. I have been working with several attorneys dealing with a lawsuit in San Diego. None of them hold a candle to Ken. I wish he had been in San Diego when I went to court. I could not recommend this man highly enough.
