Hired twice and will continue

I first came to the office for a CPS case I had with my daughter. They were the only law office I was able to research that listed CPS experience. We had a few consultations elsewhere but when I sat down with Denise I knew she was the one. She gave me direction right away to start preparing for court.... She made sure I got more visits, and let the judge know that CPS was only providing me the minimum amount of visits. Denise also gave me great advise on attending addition classes. Thanks to Richard Isles law office I got my daughter back within 3 months. Durning the CPS case I also had a custody hearing for my son. The lawyer I hired before I found Richard Isles office was horrible and I lost my legal rights. I hired Richard Isles again to get my supervised visits removed and get joint legal and physical custody. The wording explaining my situation was beautiful written. My ex said in mediation last time that a request for supervised visits would be asked for as Long as possible. Denise made sure I got mediation separate and prepped me very well. I got supervised visits dropped, joint legal/physical and more time during summer. I will never go anywhere else. They fought with me every step of the way. Riverside and Hemet Court

Terrible representation

I hired Richard Isles to present my case. I had custody of my daughter 5 days a week because of medical neglect by mom for years. The neglect continued until our daughter was old enough for school. During that time the doctors had called cps on my ex for not picking up meds and more. All my paperwork... was very neat and in order by date. Everything was documented, even messages. When cps put on their report that they were investigating my ex for medical neglect for the fourth time, the first three saying mom was ordered to give medicine as prescribed by law officials and cps, mom failed to do so, case closed... wow right? So when they said she is guilty again and wanted to just close it I set up a meeting with cps to find out why they can't do their job. I left several messages for Richard, who had still done nothing on my case, as I needed advice on what to do during this meeting because I'm very emotional over my daughters condition that is worsening. Richard literally ignored me every time and would never call me back. During the meeting I called cps incompetent supporters of child abuse since they tried to say that the notes I had in my hand don't exist.. and the lady made a false report against me. (Later when I went high up and showed notes that lady was fired and a new report made saying my concerns were real and listed mom as neglecter. Before it was fixed though, I had to go to juvenile court. Richard Isles finally got a hold of me and told me don't worry, that he does juvenile cases and because I had just hired him and he hasn't used my retainer yet, he will allocate it all to that and I need to pay another $500. I then went to Richards office to pay and he wasn't there. His staff was and said I need to pay $1,500. (This whole incident is over 5 days) I told them I'd like to do what Richard said for $500 because my retainer of $3,000 is still full. They told me he will call me later. I called Richard every day morning and night for 4 days (juvenile court happens right away) and he refused to call me back. Finally, the day before court at 4:30pm I got a hold of him and all he told me is that he, over 4 days, used $2,850 preparing a 3/4 page draft declaration with tons of mistakes and misspelled words for FAMILY court and that I don't have enough time now for him to prepare. I told him this is wrong because I did everything I could to get a hold of him for juvenile. His response "I know you did everything you could and I'm telling you now I am not going to represent you. You can come pick up your remaining $150 and we are done." Next thing I hear from Richard is a bill for $500 and that $150 I can pick up wasn't there anymore. Richards lack of professionalism not only harmed my daughter physically and emotionally by him refusing to be there when I needed him even if he took $300 an hour for it.. then he told me not to worry he has me covers for new court only to quit on me 30 minutes before business close the day before.. but he also decided to take the entire $3,000 over a course of 4 days. His charges were $2,400 for a 3/4 page declaration with no supporting evidence and then some other misc charges.. again all over 4 days and AFTER juvenile court started.. so basically he knew it was worthless to do but Jesse a way to steal money then bail..and that's exactly what he did. I later told Richard I will be taking us to his licensing board and tribunal or whatever it's called to get your money back and he responded saying to come back in and we will talk about a full refund since he knows he was a crook. I told him I don't want to drive 90 miles to him for him to Jack me around and maybe refund.. his respond.. "I never said I'd maybe refund anything." Everything out of Richards mouth is a lie. His other reviews said a lot of what I did, especially stealing retainers and at this time he has 4 open cases against him for retainers and his license. STAY AWAY !!!

Incredible Family Law Attorney

This is the third time I have used Mr. Isles to represent me in my child custody and family law matters. Mr. Isles has done an excellent job every single time. Mr. Isles did an excellent job of belittling opposing counsel; a high priced Orange County family law attorney and successfully got what is... really needed in the best interest of my son and my family. Mr. Isles is not shy in court and you will have your side heard. I have been through multiple family law attorneys and all they seem to care about is billable hours. Not Mr. Isles. He is friendly, understanding and takes a genuine interest in your case and is well worth every penny you spend to protect your interests.

Aggressive

I have been using Mr. Isles law firm on a very difficult matter for the past year and half because I am constantly getting served by the other party . From the moment I walked in and met wt Michelle Stevens I knew I was in good hands . She let me know exactly what would happen and made me feel better... abt the situation. She always returned my calls when I had questions . I get sometimes people want compassion in their situations but you need somebody aggressive in that court room and clearly that is what I got. My last hearing was a week ago and mediation went terrible and their was false accusations on me that was so clear that the mediatior was prejudice against me and could have caused a lot of damage . I was so shooken up that i actually got other attorneys advice from other firms and it was clear they wanted to drag it on for money . I called Michelle Stevens and right away felt better . Unfortunately the day of my hearing she had another case in a different court ( I went to her on a fri and my hearing was Monday ) so she called Mr. Isles in her office and he said he would be wt me in court that day to continue my hearing due toe retaining them last min . The day of my hearing he took the time out and heard me out and he actually proceeded wt it and the case was dismissed . His demeanor gave me comfort and I felt like I was in good hands . I will always turn to this firm for help. They are amazing in the court room.

I have not had to use an attorney until recently. My situation was sudden and escalated quickly. I found myself up against an alleged domestic abuse accusation, divorce, custody and spousal support request by my unemployed husband! As a working professional there were allegations being made that st...ood to be possible grounds for dismissal at work since I undergo an extensive background check for my employment. The sabotage of our home and character deformation that was being constantly tacked to me was becoming unbearable and I found myself needing legal representation as my spouse evidently didn’t want to be amicably. Full time wife, mother, employee AND student, I found myself in this heinous predicament and felt every negative emotion I think was humanly possible! I was at a lost to say the least. I was referred to other attorneys through a program at my place of employment, I had a consultation and I sat in an attorney’s office and began to wonder if he was even listening to me as he shuffled various papers that was not mine and indicated that he would “view” my papers only if I retained him!! Horrified by this, I began a search for someone who would need to understand my plight! I came across Attorney Richard K. Isles and read about him and his firm on their website, I immediately called his office to schedule an appointment and was graciously accommodated. I met with Attorney Isles himself and during the consultation I was able to convey all my concerns. Attorney Isles listened attentively commented and questioned when he needed clarification and then professionally articulated to me where I stood and what my rights were and what my concerns meant and how it related legally. I was given explanations in regards to every avenue of concerns I had and I truly felt that I was heard. He read through the legal documents that I was served and offered clarity on same. I was convinced that this was the firm I wanted to represent me and my family. I conveyed this to Attorney Isles and requested that he himself represent me, which he did. Attorney Isles then enlightened me about his firm’s policy. I retained Richard K. Isles Law Firm and I was met and brought abreast of what to expect, what I needed to do and did not need to do. This firm has handled the mountain of paper work I was buried under and has managed to give me a sense of peace during this time of conflict and turmoil. I was able to be a mother to my son, continue to work full time, attend school and went about my days taking care of myself and my son’s mental stability, whilst Attorney Isles and his staff did all the work that initially took me a lot of time to do. I am convinced that he believes in Family Law and the justice that goes along with matters like mine. So far we have checked a couple items off the laundry list and I continue to trust in the Law office of Richard K. Isles to represent me through the duration of my case. In court he truly was my advocate and protected my well-being from the lobby to the court room. He ensured that we were heard an understood. His questions were timed and seamlessly effortless, perhaps his strategy to get the answers that were the truth. I believe that he has a genuine concern for his clients. I am confident that Attorney Richard Isles will work for me and my family to ensure a just outcome.
