Biography
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California in Santa Cruz, in the area of Language Studies. I graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a Juris Doctor in 1998. Graduating in the top 35% of my class, I received the American Jurisprudence award in Contracts. Even in law school, I represented Family Law clients as a member of the Family Law Clinic. I represented criminal clients in court as a certified law student and was a member of the criminal law mute court.
Upon graduation, I joined a conflict Public Defender’s office where I represented parents involved with the Child Protective Services as well as criminal defendants. I was admitted in the California Bar in 1999 and opened my own practice in October 2001 where I continued to practice Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law and Family Law in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey counties.
I relocated to Riverside county in 2005 and opened my own office where I was a partner and co-owner. I continually expanded my Family Law practice while continuing to represent clients in the areas of Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law, Adoption and Guardianship. I have extensive trial experience in all aspects of Family Law including custody and visitation, support, division of property and restraining orders. In 2014, I obtained my specialist certification in Family Law and have continued to focus my practice in this area to include, adoptions, guardianships and juvenile matters. I have worked in large family law firms as well as smaller practices. In January 2022, I opened my own office to better serve my clients. I continue to specialize in the area of Family Law serving Riverside and San Beranradino Counties. Additionally, I continue to represent clients in the areas of Juvenile Dependency, Adoption and Guardianship.
