I have not had to use an attorney until recently. My situation was sudden and escalated quickly. I found myself up against an alleged domestic abuse accusation, divorce, custody and spousal support request by my unemployed husband! As a working professional there were allegations being made that st...ood to be possible grounds for dismissal at work since I undergo an extensive background check for my employment. The sabotage of our home and character deformation that was being constantly tacked to me was becoming unbearable and I found myself needing legal representation as my spouse evidently didn’t want to be amicably. Full time wife, mother, employee AND student, I found myself in this heinous predicament and felt every negative emotion I think was humanly possible! I was at a lost to say the least. I was referred to other attorneys through a program at my place of employment, I had a consultation and I sat in an attorney’s office and began to wonder if he was even listening to me as he shuffled various papers that was not mine and indicated that he would “view” my papers only if I retained him!! Horrified by this, I began a search for someone who would need to understand my plight! I came across Attorney Richard K. Isles and read about him and his firm on their website, I immediately called his office to schedule an appointment and was graciously accommodated. I met with Attorney Isles himself and during the consultation I was able to convey all my concerns. Attorney Isles listened attentively commented and questioned when he needed clarification and then professionally articulated to me where I stood and what my rights were and what my concerns meant and how it related legally. I was given explanations in regards to every avenue of concerns I had and I truly felt that I was heard. He read through the legal documents that I was served and offered clarity on same. I was convinced that this was the firm I wanted to represent me and my family. I conveyed this to Attorney Isles and requested that he himself represent me, which he did. Attorney Isles then enlightened me about his firm’s policy. I retained Richard K. Isles Law Firm and I was met and brought abreast of what to expect, what I needed to do and did not need to do. This firm has handled the mountain of paper work I was buried under and has managed to give me a sense of peace during this time of conflict and turmoil. I was able to be a mother to my son, continue to work full time, attend school and went about my days taking care of myself and my son’s mental stability, whilst Attorney Isles and his staff did all the work that initially took me a lot of time to do. I am convinced that he believes in Family Law and the justice that goes along with matters like mine. So far we have checked a couple items off the laundry list and I continue to trust in the Law office of Richard K. Isles to represent me through the duration of my case. In court he truly was my advocate and protected my well-being from the lobby to the court room. He ensured that we were heard an understood. His questions were timed and seamlessly effortless, perhaps his strategy to get the answers that were the truth. I believe that he has a genuine concern for his clients. I am confident that Attorney Richard Isles will work for me and my family to ensure a just outcome.

After several awful experiences with prior counsel Mr. Isles was a breath of fresh air. He was upfront and open about what the expectations should be, and did not lead us on to expect more than was legally permissible, he was not trying to be sneaky - which was our experience with former lawyers. H...e keeps you informed along the way and asks questions as they arise so that by the date of hearing he is fully prepared, as well as keeping us fully educated and therefor prepared as well. Finally there was a positive experience for us in the courtroom, under his representation. He takes his obligation to protect the best interests of his clients seriously and that really showed. I wish he was the first attorney we had hired in the beginning!! I would and will recommend Mr. Isles to anyone in the area in need of a family law attorney.

Horrible Attorney, does not return emails or phone calls. Missed 2 of 3 hearings I hired him for. Quit before my 3rd hearing, but not until I met with him to discuss hearing and paid additional 3500 cash. Then to find out he had no plan on attending my hearing and then rescheduled the next hearing f...or 3 months out...this guy is a Complete waste of time and money. he could not even get a Financial statement correct or accurately represent my Family. Negotiated without me even reviewing documents and a POOR communication. Quoted $5,000 and ran up 10,000 in a short time, billing statements would have 1 line item of " 8 hours reviewing case only charged for 5" total B.S. if he spent more than 2 hours reading my file, I don't believe it as he did not know me or my situation at all. My custody went from 50/50 to 75/25 due to not being prepared when he did show up in court and my paychecks are now $27.00 every 2 weeks! Thank you for screwing up my life! I now have to redo everything Isles office has touched. DO NOT USE RICHARD ISLES.

The Attorneys’ and Support staff in the Riverside, CA office worked well with all clients. Even if the attorney is at court the support staff is able to assist and answer questions and/or concerns so no phone call is a waste of time. My divorce case was represented and resolved with exceptional resul...ts, my attorney represented me on every level and was able to secure all requested items from listed on the judgment. The opposing counsel made everyone wait 2.5 hours and my attorney stayed with me the entire time, discussed strategy, possible changes and end results by the time everyone was ready to go into MSC I was able to let me attorney handle the case and discussions with confidence. I appreciate the time and effort of this law firm!

I chose Richard Isles after meeting him in person at his office. I can confidently say my case was finalized without any problems or delay. Was quoted the average retainer fee for divorce and custody. Each issue that was important to my future (custody and support payments) was handled and resolved a...gaint the ex's lawyer smoothly and without delay. I actually came out of this with more than I hoped for. Am not normally the type to throw in the towel but when you just want out of a marraige from hell you want it overwith yesterday! If anything, I gained more than I went into the divorce expecting. This lawyer was actually looking out for MY best interests. My divorce goals were met (wanted my divorce over in six months, 50/50 custody, 70 inch t.v, my car, Boat, and quick resolution) with freedom papers in hand. They delivered. Made the process less painful then I expected, especially going into this with a materialistic money-hungry ex who threatened to never let me see my kids. I actually feel like I won, if there is such a thing in divorce. From the first interview, It was clear the lawyer knew his law. He spoke on my level, without legal jargon, practical advice was given as well, to avoid the Ex from causing any sh-- that could ruin my career. I know my choice was right in hiring this firm. I read the reviews here prior to hiring, did my research, and they delivered. End result- divorced, shared custody, and not financially drained. Works for me!
