Our son received a DUI and immediately received post cards and flyers in his mailbox. Received one advertising A. Marie Felson, with Ralph Martinez as her paralegal. Upon contact, immediately a payment plan for a total of $1495 (paid by us) was set up and Faxed to a number that appears no where in ...these websites (did not realize) Payments taken and paid in full. very little correspondence and always "do not come to court. I will take care of it" Many contact #s that do not match up. Phone contact with very sketchy suggestions, and very vulgar language!! A woman's voice posing as Ms. Felson sounded very unsure. Long story short.......no one showed up for court and my son went! Thank goodness, or a warrant for his arrest would have been issued. There is something very wrong about all of this. I have been in courtrooms numerous times in my life, and this was bizarre. Perhaps someone is scaming and posing as Ms. Felson?????? Perhaps Mr. Ralph Martinez works with her right under her nose!!! Absolutely a nightmare!!!! I have dealt with law offices three times, and there was always communication and face to face encounters. I want this review to be read, but am fearful if Mr. Martinez sees this. Conversations with him were very demanding and unpleasant. He claims to be her case manager. ????

She was my DV lawyer and trust me, she may have the knowledge of our laws and probably some experience, I would rather recommend hiring a Public Attorney for your defense than spending thousands of your hard earned or loaned money to get her service. Do not make the same mistake as I did. I should... have known that I am in trouble the day she told me to meet her at her office and she was late. She claims she will give me an outline of our defense but ended up with a brief discussion that we can actually do it over the phone. Not only I waited for her that day, she also wasted my precious time. My case ended with a "no contest" plea. I actually know that I will be found guilty if this will be a jury trial but what I am trying to accomplish really is that some of the charges are really not true. I am hoping to get the juries sympathy, which I was hoping Aniko will help me make it happen. But, the very day we met up to the day of my trial, Aniko would rather have me accept the plea bargain. The day I pleaded "no contest', the Judge wanted to review my case so she would know if she will let me see my children. Aniko set the court date. Three months later, she was in LA and never had the courtesy to inform me on time that she will not be available and that she will be replaced by someone else. That someone has other things to do too before he can attend to my needs. I was asked in two occasion by the Court on the whereabouts of my lawyer and I can only sigh in dismay. And when that someone finally came, he came into the Court knowing nothing about my case and worse, the Judge does not even know or remember what the hearing is all about. The other party did the talking and the session ended up short of my expectation. Aniko said I was rude. I think being honest and truthful to your feelings is not rude. In summary, if we need someone to defend us in court, i would recommend Aniko to be the last person you would consider. Having a Public Attorney to defend us is a good idea, in fact, probably would be the wisest idea vis-a-vis Aniko. And please don't let me say "I told you so".

She is the worse Lawyer Ever. It doesnt get worse than her as a lawyer. First she is never availlable. She always have her husband answer the phone for her. and by the way he is very unprofessional. I only really met with her to discuss the case 30min before the arraignment in court. You know the... only think she told me??? For you case when the judge will ask you just say "i plead guilty ". she told me that if I don't I will have to pay her $3000 on top of the $2000 already paid if I want to go to triad. Like I said Aniko Hoover is the worse lawyer ever.

Thanks Aniko! I was worried with my 3rd DUI because I have three kids to feed and I can't afford to be in jail for one minute! I violated probation and people were telling me I was going to be in jail for awhile. I was super scared. They are very quick to respond- Richard was available 24/7 to take m...y calls. In the end, Aniko was able to get me just a few days of Ankle bracelet - fine whatever! I didn't have to do DUI classes again either! Thanks Aniko & Richard.
