Robert James Baumer

I do NOT recommend. Mr. Baumer was not prepared for court. He stumbled over papers and filing when IN court, trying to familiarize himself with the case. My now ex-husband even called me to ask what was wrong with my attorney and he actually felt bad for me. He represented me in court 1 time and ...I fired him. I ended up representing myself against my ex's attorney and came out very satisfied with the outcome. I do NOT recommend Robert J. Baumer, ESQ. $5K wasted that could have been better spent elsewhere.

There was a lot of comments that Robert was going to run up my retainer etc. But that was ALL false. He really REALLY tried,...He even compensated me for some of the issues that wasn't solved. How many lawyers have you heard of THAT happening? Never. He took the case as far as humanly possible. He wo...rked hard,...I know its always a hesitation to hire someone. Be he will work for you. Although the case didn't turn out the way I wanted it,...it was circumstances outside of what Mr. Baumer control and I acknowledge that. I can say it is very honest and forthright. You can't say that about most lawyers either. Mr. Baumer is truly an exception.

I want to Thank Mr. Baumer and his entire staff for the work they did on my case. The attention to detail and professionalism from him and his staff was exemplary. He took on my case and did just what he said he would do. My court date went smooth as he and his staff was very well prepared. I felt su...pported throughout the entire process even when I was out of state. I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a family law lawyer. Thanks again to Mr. Baumer and his staff

I have been a high volume client of Mr Baumer's and his team for over a year. Mr Baumer has an impressive court presence and legal mind. Treva, his paralegal, is the best in her field, she is extremely grounded in pressured situations including long cause hearings, is fast, wise, and has an exception...al recollection for cases. Overall, it's a relaxed and well balanced team who will help you see the light at the end of the tunnel. They are professional but not stuffy like other firms. They are serious about what they do and honest. They genuinely care about their clients' quality of life out of a divorce or custody modification and that of any children involved as well. Mr. Baumer is an unwavering advocate and protector of his clients' rights, responsibilities and privileges as individuals or parents while keeping in mind what is developmentally best for children. Mr Baumer does not waste time in getting to work for a client. He will generate ideas and produce correspondence and pleadings while you meet with him. His time is valuable so it greatly helps if you're focused and organized. If you're not, he will help you determine your goals and Treva will help you get organized. Mr. Baumer uses strategic reasoning in helping you make decisions for your case, all you have to do is trust him and the process. You will get a lot more out of his time if you stay focused on providing him solid information on just the most important aspects of your case. It doesn't take him long to gather your story and he will want to move forward with a decisive plan of action immediately. Mr. Baumer will also help you to remove bad apples from your case, such as biased third parties superseding their designated roles. There is low-cost parking available just across the street so it's easy to get in and out of appointments yet still convenient to the downtown courthouses. The office does not rack up unnecessary hours, fees or costs. They are communicative about estimates and billing, will help clients submit fee waivers, have a retainer agreement that is easy to understand and are able to not charge for court appearance parking like other attorneys.
