Biography
As the co-founder and managing partner of Murphy Jones APC, Kevin C. Murphy oversees the firm's administrative and legal operations. A UC San Diego alumnus, he graduated with a degree in Political Science (Public Law) in 2003 and later earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. While there, he excelled academically and participated in notable programs, extending his legal education to the Sorbonne in Paris.
Kevin's legal career began at Morris Sullivan & Lemkul LLP, where he managed construction defect, personal injury, and medical malpractice cases. Today, he navigates the intricacies of State Administrative Board representation and civil litigation in California and Nevada. His professional affiliations are extensive, including leadership roles in the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and community bar associations.
Beyond practice, Kevin devotes time to pro bono work, advocating for underrepresented communities. His efforts include working with the Children’s Attorney Project in Nevada and participating in mental-health conservatorship cases in San Diego. Whether in the courtroom or community, Kevin is dedicated to justice and prides himself on making a difference in people's lives.
