Joshua B. Poulsen is a litigation attorney at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers. Josh is a graduate of Utah Valley University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business Management. Josh attended law school at the University of San Diego School of Law in San Diego, California, where he was the recipient of the Leonard Armato Entrepreneurial Scholarship, the Michael Mohr Memorial Scholarship, and the Student Leadership Scholarship.
While in law school, Josh served as the President of the Student Bar Association and as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee, the Law Alumni Board, and the University's Board of Trustees. Josh focused his studies in the areas of trial advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, and legal writing, and during his third year, volunteered at the San Diego Superior Court as a NCRC certified mediator. Josh also volunteered at the on campus pro bono legal clinics and assisted low income clients with their civil litigation claims.
Josh is licensed to practice law in California and is a member of the California State Bar and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. Josh is also taking the Uniform Bar Exam in February of 2014, which will allow him to practice law in fourteen other states.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys being with his friends and family. He loves sports and enjoys recreational activities such as golf, volleyball, waterskiing, snowboarding, and crossfit..
