I contacted Jan Mulligan on behalf of a family member to review a potential birth injury case. She responded very quickly. She and her colleagues then reviewed the documentary evidence, and she promptly provided a response. Although she did not accept the case, Jan took the time to explain in considerable detail the weaknesses of the case and the reasons why they were not able to accept the case. No other lawyer has taken as much time to explain why they would not accept the case. Although Jan did not accept the case, I feel that if the case had been stronger, and, if Jan had accepted the case, she would have communicated promptly and very well with my family member throughout the case.

Kudos and heartfelt thanks are due Jan Mulligan for her work in recovering damages from the insurance company of a man who ran into my 88-year-old Dad in a crosswalk. Jan patiently explained our options and helped us make decisions that worked for US. We were able to get a reasonable recovery - even after the defendant disappeared - without spending an uncomfortable amount of time and energy when time is so precious. Jan clearly understands people as well as the law.

Nobody will represent you like this firm.
Jan and Betsy did an amazing job handling our case.
Right from the beginning they exuded a sense of caring and concern that can only be described as motherly. During our immensely emotional battle with the hospital this legal team fought for my daughter tooth and nail and was instrumental in providing a lifetime benefit that will actually last her lifetime. Jan and Betsy work together like peanut butter and jelly. Both are extremely competent as well as sensitive and personable. They took on our case and made us feel like family. There where times when reviewing our case when Jan would get goosebumps or just shed a tear and I knew instantly that her emotions where so very connected to ours and so genuine that I just knew we where in great hands. Mulligan and Banham did a fantastic job. I would recommend this firm to anyone who is in need of justice, anyone who has been medically wronged..... Mulligan and Banham do the work and they do it with heart and soul.

I endorse this lawyer. Jan and her partner Betsy Banham are the best medical malpractice team of lawyers in San Diego, with a great support staff. I have referred several medical malpractice cases to them, and they never fail to get great results. They are kind, compassionate and understanding toward their clients, yet they are a pair of tigresses when dealing with opponents. They have my highest recommendation.
