Biography
Prior to practicing law, I served as an ordained minister in christian education and family ministries. I was awarded special recognition in family law studies in law school. My goal is to resolve matters first before going to litigation in family law. In probate matters, I know that time is of the essence and we try to resolve matters as quickly as possible.
I also publish a blog where I provide commentary on the intersection of religious faith and culture at
I host a weekly hour long talk show on legal topics each Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. title "Law Talk" on on the Internet.
I provide pro bono services to single mothers who are residents of a women's shelter for single homeless mothers, Stepping Stones for Women, Inc a faith based non-profit agency in Covina, CA.

Great Advice
Mr. Benton gave me excellent advice and very timely. I am having some issues with my brother's estate. My older brother is handling the paperwork and I'm at a point where I am not sure if he is going to do things above board. I am fortunate to receive answers from someone who knows the probate law...

a true gentleman
