Replied last September 18, 2020Very few things make me as depressed as an unhappy client. I am not sure which client you are, or when your case ended since recently we have been having some really good results. But in any event, I am super sorry you are not happy with the results, and I get it. Sometimes after all the work, negotiations, investigation, and motions there is no other choice but to go to trial. That must be why we requested another $7,500.00. The retainer agreement is really clear that trials are more. I can't do trials for free-they are just too time consuming. However, you could always go with the public defender-you would never have to "go it alone". I guarantee if there was a 4th Amendment issue, we ran the motion and had a hearing and lost-so even though it seemed obvious to you (and probably me) the DA and the Judge disagreed. I also guarantee that we spent way more time on your case than most attorneys. We know how to defend criminal cases, and we usually get really good results, but in a few cases, after we "turn over every rock" and "squeeze the juice" from every stage of the process, trial is our only option. I am truly sorry that you are dissatisfied. I am always willing to discuss other options for you. Please give us a call so we can further attempt to remedy your issues.
