Great Experience
I've worked with many lawyers through the years for work and can say Mr. Seal was one of the best I've worked with. We had two traffic collisions with company vehicles and the other parties refused to respond to us. Once Mr. Seal filed the suits the first party offered a fair and reasonable settlement within weeks. The second case took a little more effort and he was able to get a fair and reasonable settlement without going to trial. I would not hesitate to work with Mr. Seal again in the future.

Savvy Attorney
I am a victim in a very serious, complicated case involving monetary fraud. I found Attorney David Seal in a random search on Avvo and landed myself the absolute best attorney that I could have possibly found. David is not only extremely knowledgeable in various aspects of law but is also efficient, clever and effective in handling my case. David is readily available when I have questions about items I do not understand along with offering emotional support when things seem overwhelming. I highly recommend David Seal for any legal issues one may have and know that, if needed, I would not think of hiring anyone else. Kelly Lhotak

A great experience working with David Seal...
I utilized David Seal in 2013 to represent me on a civil case involving a neighbor whose trees had encroached onto my property (causing foundation and other structural damage). His efforts resulted in a successful outcome as the compromising tree was eventually removed; eliminating further structural damage to my home. Owning apartment buildings, I have worked with many attorneys over the years, This is truly the first time I could say that my attorney was both honest, and putting me above all. David's expertise and tenacity caused the eventual resolution with my neighbor. It was an unfortunate situation that was not being taken seriously by the other party. However, his knowledge of the law and how it applied to my case was invaluable, and a direct cause of our success.

Good legal services !
In my experience with attorney David Seal, my father was being sued for half a million dollars by an ex business associate. My sister died on the same day that my father was served; he was destraut to say the least. He was also in his eighties at the time. I knew that I had to find some good protection for him and at an affordable rate. I knew David prior to the law suit; I had heard how he had helped other people , in the past, so I decided to give him a try. One of the things that particularly impressed me about attorney Seal was his willingness to come to our apartment to meet with my elderly father. The court case was very challenging, but we won the case. As far as I'm concerned, our victory, was in large part due to David's congeniality with my dad, his tenacious attention to detail, in the preparation of our case, and his sence of determination when the opportunity aroze to go in and make "the kill." I recomend the services of David Wendell Seal for anyone in need of competent and affordable legal services!

Settlement Doubled in High Tech Layoff
David and his team were excellent at taking in all the information and giving me back the possibilities and probabilities of various legal scenarios. Basically doubled my layoff package without having to go to court. Would highly recommend for anyone, especially, tenured professionals affected by unjust or any type of termination!

I'm very satisfied with David Seal
I hired David Seal to handle an employment case for me. He listened well to my complaint and agreed to take it on. He communicated well both by calling me and asking any questions while going over documents and also taking my calls if and when I had any concerns. I was able to attend some of the depositions of witnesses and could only listen in on them and was very impressed with the way David hammered with just the right questions. He really cornered the right witnesses into admitting wrongdoing and that was what my case was all about. I remember thinking that I was glad I was not in the hot seat on the other side of the table that David turned it into. I was very well satisfied with the outcome of my case due to Davids diligence. At the end of the settlement conference the judge stopped and told David that he " represented his client well". I got the impression that it is not often that a judge would stop and offer that kind of compliment. David got a friend for life for helping me like he did when I really needed it. The legal system can be a spooky place for someone like me who is not familiar with it so it was great to have Dave give me reassurance, answered all of my questions when I had them and brought it all to a successful conclusion. Can't do any better than that.

Capable! Successful! No surprises! Gets the job done!
Mr. Seal has represented us three times in three different situations, and has prevailed. One was the pursuit of legal malpractice against another attorney. One was an estate dispute involving malfeasance on the part of a bank. One was a fee dispute with another attorney. In each case I do not believe we could have realistically wished for more informative, more open, more capable, more personable, more practical, more realistic, or more articulate representation.

David Seal has been highly effective for me on more than one occasion, I highly recommend him
I have had the pleasure of having David Seal represent me on a couple of occasions and I couldn't be happier with the service I got. He communicated thoroughly, explained the processes to me, and in the end obtained excellent results. Mr. Seal helped me to avoid exposure in a real estate matter, quite effectively and quickly resolved a dispute with a rental tenant, and even helped to save my drivers license a few years back. His presentations were extremely effective and you know if he tells you something is the law, he is probably right about it! His fees were quite reasonable., too.

Not a good 1st interaction
I reached out to David to consult a real estate case and he was quite rude. I called him at the morning and he told me i can call back 6:30pm. I finally connected him at 6:50pm. He isn’t my 1st attorney to consult this case, however, the questions he asked aren’t really similar to other attorneys. so while I described the case in a nutshell, he constantly asked if there was an escrow etc. I thought I disclosed that when I started, since that’s the beginning of contract and also this dispute. I told him i found him since he answered a similar question on avo.com that he can do fixed to contingency plan. He said he wouldn’t believe that he said that. He was basically saying i’m lying. So I said, your review isn’t solid 5 star, i wouldn’t have reached out to you if you didn’t answer that. He immediately counter back and said . he isn’t interested. Overall, I think his attitude is really problematic. And if you think i’m one of those uneasy to work with, just check my reviews left for attorney. His style is very rude and “you listen” or we don’t talk.

Some people are so full of themselves that they talk down to professionals who are giving them time for free. Some people think lawyers are like a public utility, and that we have some duty to put up with bad behavior. Some have very little understanding of the legal system yet are absolutely certain they know everything, despite the fact that they obviously don't. This person checked all of those boxes. If this person had just been capable of carrying on a normal conversation, it could have been productive for her. I would likely have spent a great deal of time discussing her case and learning about it. Even if I did not want to take it on, I could likely have suggested another lawyer for her if it had merit. But I'm not going to do that with someone who acts like this person acted. But any rudeness was strictly from her side. No one ever said anything along the lines of "I talk, you listen." I did ask questions designed to elicit relevant information (which is not what this person seemed to be conveying to me). Even though this prospective client was being either insulting or just inane, I still politely told her that I was not interested in her case, and wished her good luck with it.

MUST READ BEFORE HIRING THIS ATTORNEY
Attorney David Seal promised to assist me with my collateral complaint for trespassing and private nuisance for a business operated out of my rental apartment without a business license and home occupation permit. After the retainer agreement was signed and the $3,500 retainer check was cashed, I did not hear back from attorney Seal. I tried calling and emailing him but he is always busy working on other cases, personal health issues, and holiday vacation. The day before the statutory deadline to file suit for my case expired, he called me and told me that it is not the best use of his time to file an action for trespass and private nuisance. He then sent me an email confirming that I agreed to his recommendation. At this point, even if I disagreed with his recommendation, it is impossible for me to find another attorney to help me with my case. Attorney Seal should provide his clients sufficient notice of his decision not to pursue the case so the client can find another attorney. In any legal matter, time is of the essence. Attorney Seal accepted my money and promised to help me but he did not do anything. I lost my legal rights due to his failure to take action on the case and he did not provide me with advance notice to find a new attorney had I wanted to still pursue these causes of action. To make the matter worse, I asked him to provide me with his tax identification so I can issue him form 1099 for the $3,500 I paid him to comply with the IRS rules. I faxed and emailed him copy of IRS Form W-9 and instructions. He never got back to me. Now I am out $3,500 and I can’t even get a tax deduction for the money I paid him. I hope my review will help other to learn from my mistakes. If you are going to hire attorney Seal, I highly recommend paying a very small retainer fee and see if he actually follow through with what he promised. Pay the bills as the retainer is depleted to make sure you actually got legal services you paid for. If you don’t get any services, at least you lose out on a smaller amount. Also, get the form W-9 at the time the retainer agreement is signed and the initial retainer fee is paid. Once the check is cashed, you are out of luck with this attorney.

This review is highly inaccurate as has already been proven in court. Every once in awhile a lawyer will run across a client who is dishonest and a social media scammer. I was hired post-judgment to review and handle a matter which had already been lost at trial. Because there had already been a completed court case that was litigated to a conclusion, there were voluminous things to review. In addition, the client, a non-lawyer who incorrectly believes she knows the law, furnished me with a stack of research which she believed supported her theories. I promptly and fully fulfilled my obligations, but was discharged after I had fully earned all fees paid, which was a small amount. Work was done (research, drafting, consultation, trips to courthouses, etc.) and valuable legal advice was given. These clients wanted an attorney to follow a risky, meritless legal strategy, and would not listen to legal advice or even consider the reality of their situation (which was that they already had lost). If I had done what was asked it would have exposed these clients to liability. Instead of thanking me for properly doing the work, and for not exposing them to financial risk with little to no potential upside, they decided to wage a disinformation campaign online to try to influence me to return the already well-earned fees. They refused to cooperate on any little detail, even picking up the file, which was made promptly available to them. Finally, they attempted to take me to small claims court, where they asked for an award of several thousand dollars more than was paid, for no comprehensible reason. They lost and received zero. Sometimes you have to try to save clients from themselves. Sometimes they appreciate it, sometimes they don't. If you have any questions about this review and its contents, please feel free to call me as I would be happy to discuss it with you. 949-529-1090.
