Jerry was referred to me by my friend who had gotten her naturalization process handled by him and she was very grateful.
I had a very complicated case, but he handled it in a very professional way. He was complitely truthful and genuine about possibility of denial, but tried to explore alternative legal ways to reach favorable result. I got naturalized.
I was extremely fortunate to have Mr. Shapiro on my side and will definitely recommend his service to anyone seeking an excellent lawyer.
Thank you so much Mr. Shapiro!

Jerry was referred to us by a mutual friend who had gotten their immigration legal work handled by him -- and we're glad he was.
Jerry provided answers to our questions, laying out what we would need for the paperwork, immigration interview and contingencies that might come up. He was thorough, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. He even met up with us on a Sunday due to our busy schedule.
I'd definitely recommend Jerry to anyone looking for assistance navigating the tricky channels of changing immigration status.

I had a very complicated Adjustment of Status case. My initial immigration attorney was negligent and failed to include several important documents with the case. My case was denied.
After that, I learned my lesson and met several other attorney's before choosing Mr. Shapiro. Now my adjustment of status is approved and I have green card in my hand, thanks to Mr. Shapiro. He is knowledgeable. He is responsive - you can contact him by phone, email or text. He handles your case with great care professionalism. You can't find a better immigration attorney in Los Angeles.

Several of years ago I met a few immigration lawyers and I wanted to make my American dream come true and nobody wants this more than I do and I first visited USA at 13 years ago 17 years ago and I always spent my summers in California and I told my Grandparents on my first day in USA on August 4th 1999 at 3pm when I just landed and I will be moving here. I have a big US family in LA and one of them is a lawyer and he recommended Jerry Shapiro and said he is very trustworthy. I remember meeting him my first time and stated I should get a student visa and become a student and luckily i had an amazing opportunity to go to CSUN and get my 2nd BA and find the right visa. One day I brought a new car and decided to be impulsive and drive to Florida from LA and invited women of my dreams to take a road trip back to California. We talked on FB for a few years and we have many adventures on our road trip and fell in love and got married 9 months later. I contacted Jerry and we were living in San Diego and I didn't want any lawyer because I knew he is very genuine and a good family man with 5 children and Grandkids His price was very reasonable and put up with anxiety and he always texted me and emailed me back and forth promptly. My wife and I moved to Redding Northern California and he only charged me for flights to fly to Sacramento to be there for our Green card interview. The interview went fantastic. We brought a big laundry basket with full of pictures and documents and we were over prepared and the immigration officer made a joke about our basket. It was a very pleasant interview and my wife was upset because she wanted to stay longer to show more pictures to the immigration officer pictures and my Green Card got approved. Yesterday I had serious insurance issues because my insurance got cancel because I needed to prove I was legal and while I was in the insurance building Jerry messaged me that my Green card have arrived and currently in OC and texted him if I can drive up to his building to pick it up and he sent me a text that he can meet me in Starbucks 20 minutes from my location and he saved me 5 hours journey and LA traffic. Very genuine and honest. He is very smart and knows his stuff. I am a very intrusive person and it takes a lot to earn my trust. Thank you Jerry for helping me to get my Green card and I waited 17 years for this.

Mr Jerry Shapiro has successfully resolved a very complicated Immigration case for us. Before we found and retained Mr. Shapiro, we had discussed the case with dozens of Attorneys in Los Angeles and paid several of them, but did not find any single one who understood the complications of the case and had a solution, besides mere promises . I can proudly affirm Jerry's dedication, commitment, punctuality and availability during the entire lengthy process of the complex legal battle. We feel very fortunate to find Jerry, and have him as our Permanent Family Immigration Attorney now. In my Business, I deal with lots of Attorneys, and I can proudly say that such a immaculate Attorney like Jerry is very rare to find. We feel very lucky to have him.

As you all have found out, there is no lack of endless choices when it comes to immigration attorneys here in Los Angeles. Trying to figure out which one to trust and hire is an overwhelming challenge! Jerry Shapiro is the only man for the job! A good friend of mine recommended him, years earlier he had saved her from immediate deportation! Not only is Shapiro the number one worker of legal miracles, but he is a very quiet, humble and super honest gentleman.
My case for Green Card was very challenging and had me super frightened. I had many concerns and I was very worried. I had been in United States years ago on student visa, which had expired long ago! You all know the story…
My boyfriend and I had been living together for over five years and after California legalized same sex marriage we went ahead and got married. We met together with Jerry and explained our fears and concerns. We immediately knew we were in good hands! He made us laugh, calmed us down, told us exactly what documents were necessary to have prepared and even to have copies to give to the Agent. Even what photos to include in our photo albums!.........everything! He was always so very easy to reach and get prompt response on the phone, or get fast response using texting and email.
Ended up that he handled everything beautifully including something I left out in the original documents, potentially dangerous situation..... No problem for this attorney!
Jerry Shapiro is extra fair with his fees, never will nickel and dime you like most do and is completely honest and upfront, and always with a smile on his face. Mr. Shapiro attended the Green Card interview, sitting right behind us, and when the Agent saw how incredibly well our paperwork was prepared, we were good to go!
I now have my Green Card with total peace of mind because this gentleman is the very best there is! Period! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this attorney.

As with many Greencard applications, ours had a couple of complicated issues to solve. While many other lawyers tried to instill fear around that issue in order to overcharge us, Mr. Shapiro was on top of it from the beginning, explained to us exactly what we needed to do and everything went exactly as he said. In fact, everything happened faster than what Mr. Shapiro had anticipated. Once we had our first meeting with him and we submitted our application, we really never worried about it anymore. We applied for a marriage greencard for a Spanish citizen.
