I will start this review by stating I am a very "picky" person in general. And when my husband and I were looking for an immigration attorney to helps us with his removal proceedings case I wanted to make sure we got a very competent one. And so we did! We were referred to Jerry Shapiro by one of my ...husband's friend. We met with some other attorneys but when we met with Shapiro, we knew he was the right person to help us out. He clearly explained what our options were and the estimated timing for each of them. He was always available to answer our questions (and I can honestly say I had a lot of them). Jerry was with my husband in every court hearing he had. And was available to meet with us, so we can make sure what to expect during each hearing. He found the best route for my husband's to get his permanent resident card approved; and we will always be thankful for that. He is a great, great lawyer! We are already referring our friends to him.

I was referred to Jerry by a colleague. We met for an initial consultation in May 2018 and we hired him to represent my mother for her adjustment of status. My mother is from Honduras. Jerry was always available for any questions or concerns. He guided us through the process and kept an open commun...ication. My mother had her interview with an immigration official on April 10th, 2019. We met with Jerry a week before to make sure everything was in order and to make sure we were ready. The day of the interview he was present. The interview went well but the immigration official requested additional documents. Jerry helped us gather one of the documents and my mother and I gathered the rest. Once we had everything, we met with Jerry and he made sure to walk the documents in to the immigration office. On May 7th, my mother received a notification that her adjustment of status was approved. She received her green card 2 days later. We are extremely pleased with Jerry’s services and would definitely recommend him to anyone.
