My case spanned 8 years, the process was tough, I’m sure anyone could imagine, and he never one time left me hanging. I originally filed for a green card through my wife but when my marriage didn’t work out, Jerry was able to facilitate my eligibility through Nacara. His fees are extremely fair and I would have paid even more for his services, diligence, ethics, and perseverance with the whole process and my many court hearings. Now that my case is closed and I am officially a green card holder, myself and my family are eternally grateful to Jerry Shapiro. This is the type of lawyer you want representing you. This review is long overdue! I want to start by thanking Mr Shapiro for giving me the life I have always looked for! Been in the states since I was a baby but after my mother passed when I was 14 I struggled with my immigration status and spend thousands of dollars with other attorneys! My first meet...ing he was able to find a solution and worked on my case! I finally had a permit to work then came my residency and tomorrow I am going to my oath ceremony to become a US CUTIZEN!!! Mr Shapiro did pure job handling my case. I hired Mr Shapiro and paid $4000 to handle my case. All he does is send me letters about my case, but when I call to speak to him he is apparently NEVER "available." He dragged my case for over 2 years only for immigration to write a letter stating they did... not get any paperwork application. Since my case was not moving forward i had to fire Mr Shapiro and hired different attorney. Definitely not the type of service I would expect for the fees he charge.

I came to Attorney Jerry Shapiro because I was a deportation proceedings from the United States. (I'm Israeli by Green Card) I arrived at Mr. Shapiro's office through the recommendation of a relative who is also a lawyer. From the first moment we contacted Mr. Shapiro I felt a sense of listen...ing and willingness to help with my case. I realized I was in safe hands. I realized that I had a lawyer who had knowledge and experience because he had previously managed a case like mine. I felt very comfortable and confident with Mr. Shapiro, as his patience and humble attitude were very calming to my situation. The legal fee was reasonably priced and was very affordable because there was a payment plan option. The office is located in an accessible area and has excellent customer service. My mother tongue is Hebrew, with English being my second language, Mr. Shapiro was very clear and made sure I understood the whole process and what needed to be done without needing an interpreter. During the 3.5 years of dealing with this issue, Mr. Shapiro was always quick to get back to me with any questions or concerns I had. He was very attentive and made sure I was always calm and relaxed, thus giving me a feeling of confidence that everything was going to be fine. Before every court date, we would meet at his office to insure we were prepared for what was to come. He made sure to coach me on what will take place allowing me to be able to answer any questions they would ask of me. I would like to point out that a lawyer has no magical powers and is not favored over the immigration system. Most of the work in the case depends on the seriousness and responsibility that the client has to achieve the success of the case.
