Irina Rubin

Irina rescued and saved my case, this is my story. I injured my back at work in 1999; being that the Insurance Company wouldn't accept liability, I hired an attorney (12 years went by and that attorney did not help at all). After years of enduring severe pain and with little and/or no treatme...nt, I developed a condition known as Drop foot in May 2005; I ended up having emergency back surgery (I had the MRI and then the surgery the same day, it was that bad). My surgeon stated that the damaged disc on my Lumbar Spine exploded "like the damaged tire of a car when it explodes in the middle of the road'. Years went by and there was no communication with my attorney; tired of waiting to get some news regarding the outcome of my case, (The attorney was nowhere to be found, I had spoken with her by phone only a couple of times in 2010, at the time she stated "the insurance company was still not accepting liability" then she disappeared again). At this point I had already decided to forget about the whole thing. One day at the beginning of 2013 I went to the W C Board office just to get some info in regards to my case; much to my surprise I learned that my case was to be dismissed the following day. The Board had sent several notices to my attorney trying to communicate with her, She never answered any of the notices. "You are in luck" said the gentleman at the WC Board office; I had a few hours to get a new attorney or I could sign as my own attorney, either way it had to be done that same day. I knew Irina Rubin (from work) I had seen first hand the way she treats her clients; with DIGNITY AND RESPECT. I had always admired how she is straightforward, kind and helpful while being strong and relentless at the same time. I knew she was the right person for the job. I went to Irina's office right away and asked her to give me a hand. She immediately took care of all the paperwork, and all the details, and proceeded to take my case "no guaranties she said'. I was ok with that. I delivered the papers to the WC Board that same day (The case was to be dismissed the following day) I had no time to waist. Irina maintained open communication with me since the first day when she agreed to represent me; and, throughout the year until September 22, 2014 when we met for the last time to finalize the Compromise and Release forms. She made it a point to keep me informed and gave me updates as to the new developments on the case. Irena was able to get me a settlement of "One Hundred Thousand Dollars" ($100.000); much more than what I ever imagined, especially since the first attorney had abandoned the case. Great person to have on your side I was hesitant to get a lawyer at first but realized I needed a knowledgeable person on my side it took time for the process to play out we had a chance to settle early but Irena rather than talking the quick buck had my best interest at the top of her list so all i ...can say is have patience you are the main priority

I not going to lie, but I did have my doubts when my husband got referred to Irina by a referral service but that changed the moment we met her and she explained the process to us in detail and that put my mind at ease. Irina was great, if we had a question all I had to do was text her and she would... respond personally, not an employee but HER, I thought that was what made me feel we were taken care of at all times. Yes the length the case took was longer than we had originally thought it would, that is the only thing I did not like. Another thing my husband and myself liked was that her employee Jairo was such an amazing help and very informative. The moment my husband stated his name, Jairo knew what he was calling for and gave him his professional and personal opinion on the matter. There was no "umms" or " let me check on that", he knew how to help us out and and the end he was the one that made my husband go to the conference status meeting and we ended the case that same day.
