Hiring Allison Margolin was one of the best decisions I've ever made. When I first met Allison she took the time to ask a lot of questions and understand the facts. Over the next several months, I met with Allison several times to talk about the case. When I called her office the staff always relayed my messages and answered my questions professionally. Lawyers David, Leo, and her partner Raza actively participated in my case. During the court proceedings Allison made purposeful actions to give my case the best chance for a dismissal. Because of Allison's willingness to keep finding out more about my case, she was able to to show weaknesses in the prosecution and got a miraculous settlement that drastically altered the course of my future. In the DMV hearing for refusal to submit a chemical test on a second offense DUI, she was able to get the charge completely dismissed. I recommend hiring Allison to anyone who wants to have a true partner in their defense.

I was referred to Allisons firm by a friend/mentor in the Hydroponic industry. I was charged with 2 Felonies: Possession with intent to sell and Transport, both being for Medical Marijuana. I was represented by both Allison Margolin and her partner Raza Lawrence. I had used two different attorneys previously and was not happy with either of them (the first was a friend-of-a-friend for all of the super basic continuances early on then I switched to an older "reputable" gentleman who is not worth mentioning (suffice it to say he is well known in the industry but sadly not what he once was).
I hired Allisons firm after the second attorney failed (along with his "expert witness" Bill Brit) during my preliminary hearing. The first thing Allison and Lawrence attempted was a pitchess motion which while earnestly fought was not won. Then they filed a 995 motion which also was unsuccessful. The motion that ended up winning the case was the motion to suppress evidence. Not only were both charges DISMISSED but I have now filed a civil suit against the police department as a result of Allison and Lawrence getting the cop to admit to a violation of my 4th amendment rights on the stand!!!!! It was a brilliant thing to watch.
Now I am still 100% criminal record free and currently the Regional Manager of Southern Californias largest Hydroponic company. I owe a great deal of where I am right now as well as my sanity to Allison and her team. A big thanks to them.
