We were blindsided when several of our bank accounts were levied because of a family member had a judgement against her. This particular family member had her name these bank accounts but was not an active user of the account nor did the money belong to this family member.
We were shocked and dismayed when we discovered we no longer had access to our bank accounts because of court levies.
Abraham Mathew was a very calm and measured voice during this time and educated us on what was happening and what our options were. He anticipated the opposing counsels moves and explained to us that even though the we knew the funds and assets were ours, opposing counsel would do their best in painting a picture that their clients would be entitled to our funds to to their creditor judgement against our family member.
Abraham clearly explained each move and every nuance and stood firm to the inflammatory language of the opposing counsel. Objections and countermoves were filed at strategic times both pro-actively or in reaction to moves by opposing counsel. When opposing counsel posted a bond and requested for the court to release our levied funds to him, Abraham advised us to post our own bond to block this move.
Ultimately, our documents created such an airtight picture that we were the rightful owners of the levied bank accounts that the opposing side decided to drop their levies on our bank accounts.
Truthfully the process was very frustrating at times, but throughout it all Abraham was very calm and confident and explained clearly what each step meant and talked about the different scenarios that could play out with each action.
Our experience with Abraham Mathew was very positive. He is knowledgable, accessible, and very clear in his presentation. I would definitely recommend him as an attorney.

Abraham took the time to call me back soon after I left him a message. He gave me options and was honest. Even though he was not able to take my case, he gave me a referral. Thank you Abraham!

I hired Abraham Mathew to be my legal counsel in a wrongful termination case. Abe is very sincere and does not sugarcoat anything. He is very frank on what I could potentially gain from the lawsuit. He also provided the worst case scenario if the suit did not turn favorable. His analysis of the case made it easier to understand the legal aspects of the case and definitely helped me make my own choice as to what direction I wanted the case to go. I would use him and his firm again in the future and would definitely recommended his firm to anyone who needs an attorney to bat for them.

My situation has a very very long tail. Starting in fact with a dealership who sold a car to me with major problems. The contract was written void of trade details d down payment. That was only the begiining. I wrote to Ford Motor Co about this and the mecahnical problems with the car. I withehld payments in order to get their attention. The CEO NEVER RESPONDED TO ME . bUT finance co COMPANY DID. Denying any relationsional responsibility fr their faulty product. We made an agreement to avoid repossesion. y selling or trading the car. Because of the problems with the car I was forced to trade it. To the minute they were aware of the transactions pending as it was involving another of their dealerships Same manager. They allegedly were going to finance the car as of March 25 2015. I never received any documentation on the financing. However it was agreed that the trade of my original vehicle was part of the deal. $ 6,500 with $ 3450 payable to Ford Credit. In the entire process Ford Motor Co resisted addressing the allegations. Which were a failed ventilation system resulting in documented medical patrient reports and independent vehicle inspection confirming the source of the problem. I can see I am going in another direction. We've had 3 months of lies on who the lienholder would be. With an alleged payment due in May. Two weeks ago they tell me AmeriCredit is the finance company. To that day no contract or payment contacts were received on my end. Last I received several messages form the dealershhip stating as part of their process AmeriCredit requiresd something silly over the phone. The dealership is fully aware of my inability to use a standard telephone because I am deaf. They opted to have a friend call in my presence. We did that and had to leave a message which was not returned. Now they're saying AmeriCredit pulled out of the deal. However I have received from Ford Credit tag information. Which identified them as the lien holder. From the start they were asked to accept the release included in the multitude of papers. Allowing the car to be sold back to them. This was after 5 emergency road calls and subsequent determination of electrical and transmission problems. They have refused to acknowledge this. Ans Ford Credit now shows a repossesion of the car. On my credit report. When the car was traded on March 25,2015. It's more involved than this.

Abraham was a referral from our contract lawyer and we are so relieved he took our case. He was supportive and thorough and fast! We were incredibly impressed with his knowledge of the law and his ability to put it in terms we could understand. He wrote a response to a demand letter that knocked the other party on their butts! The case was dropped immediately and we were able to get back to business. We feel protected knowing that we have such a solid lawyer in our corner.

I could not have wished for a kinder, smarter, more knowledgeable attorney for my case. Before I met Mr. Mathew, I was very scared and nervous, as this was the first time I was being served with papers. He immediately made me feel at ease, and generously and diligently spent time on my case and my materials. He carefully prepped for the case, and prepped me, so that I could be prepared for trial. His demeanor makes one feel at ease during uneasy times. His knowledge of the law is superb and his office staff is inviting and warm. I pray that I will never have to go to trial again for anything. However, I have enjoyed my time with Mr. Mathew so much, that I will actually miss my time with him.
