Biography
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I understand and appreciate that selecting an attorney can sometimes be a bit difficult. Although a bit daunting, choosing counsel really comes down to your personal comfort level and your ability to work with and honestly communicate with your attoreny. Over the years, I have been fortunate to represent hundreds of clients and to secure truly exceptional results for them.
Why am I different and why should you choose me as your attorney? The answer is really quite simple. You will always get an honest and true answer from me. Sometimes that may not be what you want to hear - but my job is not to tell you what you want to hear; but to tell you what you need to hear. This is important because honest responses develop trust and create realistic expectations. A true relationship/partnership between the attorney and client leads to the best result.
My practice is entirely devoted to litigation and resolving lawsuits and disputes involving employment discrimination and labor matters including wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, class actions, disability discrimination, and discrimination based on age, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, gender, sex, sexual preference, gender identity, sexual orientation, military and/or veteran status. I also represent clients in employment related cases involving trade secrets, theft of confidential information, breaches of business employment contracts and partnership agreements and unfair business practices.
As a trial attorney, my goal is simple – that is to get the best result for my client and do it quickly and efficiently. I like to get to the point quickly and I firmly believe that attention to detail, a firm grasp of facts, a can-do attitude and a healthy dose of common sense is the best way to achieve success.
I enjoy challenges and I strive to constantly learn. Over the years I have been privileged to help clients in hundreds of cases. For over two decades, I have successfully helped employees, individuals and business partners obtain outstanding trial results in cases arising out of the employemtn relationship.
I have a degree in finance and business economics. Before practicing law, I worked for a multi-national bank and then for the Federal Reserve Bank. My ability to quickly read, understand and interpret financial documents has proven to be an invaluable skill and allows me to identify where assets may be potentially hidden.
What sets me apart from other attorneys? I take the time to develop personal relationships with clients and I am genuinely interested in understanding what is important to them. Lawsuits and litigation is not easy and “winning” is not always measured by the amount of money recovered or saved. Quite often winning can be as simple as ending a dispute to achieve peace of mind and doing what is right.
