I hired this attorney on 11/5 to file a restraining order against my husband. I paid him almost 4K. He never called me after I pay his retainer fee. He just texted me to send him my statement as soon as possible, so I wrote it all down and sent it to him. He didn't help me at all. And on 11/9 he file...d a restraining order. When I looked at the form he filled out, he wrote my name wrong on his statement and he answered every question on his own he didn’t ask me. He didn’t ask me to confirm before he file it. I wrote down the date and circumstances why and when I called the police, and what kind of abuse occurred. But he wrote very simply that I’m often suffered domestic violence. And he applied to ask judge order my husband to move out. The judge didn’t accept the move out order. And now I have court hearing date. I have no family, nowhere to go, and no money and I have to deliver the documents to my husband. And If my husband files a restraining order against me I have to move out. I asked this lawyer to refund my money. And he didn’t. He even answered that I own the house which is not true at all. i told him that i need the spousal support from my husband he didnt apply it . I don’t have money to hire another lawyer. He made huge mistake and he blame me. He didn’t speak me not once and he said I didn’t understand him and he told me I’m inpatient. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to tell my scary husband about this… Please don’t hire this lawyer.

Brilliant attorney! I’m very happy with the outcome for the two restraining orders. We’ve been harassed by our neighbors for two months and police here in Yucca Valley didn’t do anything about it. We had 12 police reports in total and property damage as well. I was at the point of feeling sick of bei...ng helpless. And I never slept better when Michaels ripped into our cases and took over. Mind you I was in another state 2500 miles away in the great Lakes region and he took the criminal portion of the claim or case in December 2019 since the claimant was in LA county. I think him just showing at the court hearing date in Jan 2020, with Brian being a former LAPD prosecutor, they threw t...he bogus case away or at least that’s what I think happened. It helps to have a lawyer with such strong background. His golden advice then: don’t talk to the cops ever, probed right. Brian gave me peace of mind, and subsequently relieved my major anxiety during hard COVID19 initial lockdown times. I knew I had a strong skilled lawyer, who is well aware of their flawed tactics, who I could rely on.

Brian was really professional as well as fun. I am so glad Brian represented me for the restraining order I filed against a stalker. I must have interviewed at least 20 attorneys before deciding to retain Mr. Michaels and his team. He was by far the quickest to respond, did not delegate vital communications to his underlings, was almost always available when we needed him. Most importantly he delivered what he promised and more. ... We found after interviewing so many attorneys that many just made promises that seemed unrealistic and unprofessional.
