Atty. Whitbeck is a very knowledgeable, patient, kind and communicates very well. She's helped me and so many others with her concise, yet thorough responses to the legal questions asked on here. I haven't hired her personally bc I actually didn't need an attorney for my specific case but based on he...r strong knowledge of the NRCP and the law here in Nevada, she's definitely at the top of my list of reference to anyone needing and/or seeking versatile legal professional at the top of her game, then Atty. Whitbeck is the attorney for you to receive the best possible outcome the law allows in the best interest of your children (if applicable) and you.

While I do not know Ms. Whitbeck personally or professionally, I was able to have some of my questions answered by her. My custody/child support situation is a very complex one, with many factors involved as well as emotions. I appreciate the bluntness to which her responses consistently portrayed, m...ostly because I need to hear the facts even if that means it strikes a nerve. It's nearly impossible to explain the situation to a depth at which it deserves and even more so with the character limit. I did my best however, to paint a somewhat understandable scenario and a concise and clear question. My advice back to Ms. Whitbeck is to refrain from adding your own assumptions to an unknown case. Many times she commented and made unfair and incorrect assumptions regarding my case (ex: "If you cannot afford to pay $50/month, you cannot afford to have your child live with you, so having the child remain with grandma is likely. If that is working for the child, you really have nothing to complain about and bashing your ex doesn't help. " This is just one of the examples. Under no circumstance have I "bashed" my ex, even in an online forum. And I really do have plenty to complain about I just didn't choose to share all of that online and with strangers. To make such assumptions makes the point of coming to a website looking for legal advice difficult in an already difficult situation. On the other hand, I do appreciate the criticism, as It was a good tool in exercising my ability to let these things roll off my shoulders and take from them the good advice given from all these professionals who take the time to answer all these questions. I think it does not hurt to give a gentle reminder to ALL people searching for info/advice AND those giving it, to keep in mind that at the core of these legal matters, there are people. Little and Big ones who have been going through some tough stuff. Patience and empathy go a very long way.

Ms. Whitbeck took the time to message me back with my very complicated situation. Not only did she provide helpful information, but even prepared me for a what if that could pop up in the situation. If I could give her no stars I would have..her response was very inconsiderate and rude I asked a question pertaining to child support and she responded. She came to some conclusion about how I should make more than a certain amount of money at this point in my life.. When that wasn't even my questio...n.. She must think she is God or something. She has no idea how old I am or my situation..nor does she primarily deal with child support so I am not sure why she even responded to my question.come to find out she deals with domestic violence cases.. I would take her as a lawyer even if she was free and God forbid I ever had a domestic violence case as she would make the situation that much worse.. Please listen to my advice and seek out other lawyers who are considerate. Understanding. And have compassion!!!
